Yup. He just had his surgery in April and it's expected to be a 4 to 6 month recovery.

He is the perfect stretch 4 on offense.

This is an absolute disaster for the Rockets:
    1. Losing Asik without a backup replacement.
    2. Losing Lin + 1st round without Bosh. Basically no backup PG and losing 1st rounder.
    3. Possible losing Chandler too or taking on his HUGE contract (not good).
    4. Couldn't sign Melo (he doesn't fit anyway)
    5. Maybe losing Daniel too.

Well he can do more than shoot 3's... his problem is defense.

i know it seems bad given we lost out on bosh...but if he's healthy it would be a good pick up. We'd get to keep Jones also..

    Asik wanted out.

Canaan is the back up PG.

    Daniels likely to be resigned.

From bosh to Ryan Anderson is a huge let down. That is like hearing the prom queen likes you to having to settle for the fat chick that doesn't shower. Biggest let down ever. I don't think Ryan Anderson gets out of the first round

We can spend 9 million in free agency with our current cap space from the Lin trade, then trade Asik, Motiejunas for Anderson, Withey and 2 future second round picks.

    Augustin/Beverley/Canaan
    Harden/Daniels/Johnson
    Parsons/Marion/Garcia
    Anderson/Jones/Covington
    Howard/Withey

Sign either Augustin or Chalmers at the point, and one out of - Marion, Pierce, Jefferson, Williams or Aminu for the backup wing position.

At this point, it's about what we can get while maintaining our flexibility for one more year. We genuinely thought this was the year that we completely go all in with our chips, only to be gutted by a terribly bad beat. If Ryan Anderson can be had for a palatable price, and still give us the cap space that unloading Lin, Asik, and Parsons provided, that might be the best option. Ugh, even typing that made me nauseous.

Lebron, Melo, Bosh, and we end up with freaking Ryan Anderson, and we lost Parsons, Asik and Lin

Do we even need three superstars? Isn't two enough? Anderson could work if he is healthy. I wonder if he will ever be healthy?

Didn't Anderson lead the NBA in 3-pt %? He seemed to rebound well, at least against us. If his rehab's good, he might be a plus for us. I doubt Morey's going to come up with zilch in free agency. He's probably making a last frantic pitch to Melo and Love, then Bledsoe and Rondo, before trying to trade for Anderson or Ilyasova.
