    Taco Bueno FTW.

Anyways, like someone said, plenty of good burger places in town. Smash Burger is not one of them.

    You're not trying, man.

I like the variety of burgers Carl's Jr offers, so much better then the plain and overrated burgers at Five Guys.

I could have swore I've seen a White Castle in Houston before... it was a long time ago so maybe I'm thinking of some other place.

This is the one I meant, not Del Taco. The one in Pasadena had all of the old Indian and western pictures in it. We used to go there every Sunday after church.

    I miss it so.

Isn't Dallas getting an In-N-Out soon?

    That makes me so jealous.

They don't have Carl's Jr or In 'N Out in NYC or Chicago. They don't have White Castle in LA.

    I still prefer Whataburger.

Yes, a Del Taco in Houston would rock.

sure, their menu items are named differently, but essentially they serve the same beef from the same factory, from the same parent company.

they might as well merge their menus and become one restaurant for all I'm concerned...

Thickburger, Six Dollar Burger, Star Burger, etc... it's the same.

honestly, you aren't missing much. I have had nasty experiences with both chains and swore off ever eating there again. I think it was the soy filler in their meat.

Oh and I absolutely DESPISE their marketing campaign, with the voice of a smug hipster as their spokesperson, and the sound effects of the ketchup dripping and the person in the commercials making extremely loud eating noises. it truly bothers me.

I know these fast food threads get personal at times, but from my experience I stay as far away as possible from this place.

I saw an article that Carl's Jr will be coming to Houston soon. Apparently they should have like 50 locations opening up

It's rarely worth arguing about any burger joint that won't cook your burger to order and I wouldn't trust any fast-food joint to do this anyway, but yeah I'd love an In-N-Out in Houston.

No, we're not. And you're not "we're". You're New Jersey.

They've got a couple of Carl's Jr's up around here in the Dallas area. It tastes better than the usual fast food burgers, to me. They're all just hamburgers to me, for the most part. Sure some taste better, but it's not like I'm driving 30 miles for "theeee most awsumust hamburgur evah!", because i doubt it exists.

I remember eating at Del Tacos as a kid in Houston. The food there really could break your ass from what I remember...
