Can you believe that Charlotte Bobcats won Lakers tonight? :D :D

    Their coach is really great.

Could we have any chance to get him?

Lakers aren't worried about homecourt against the celtics and cavaliers. They are just conserving energy. Bobcats won't tank as long as Larry Brown is there.

Lakers will probably play about .500 ball down the stretch. They may go full tilt against Houston to complete the series sweep so the Rockets dont get any confidence should the two meet in the 2nd round or later.

Did you not see the Lakers collapse in the Finals against Boston? I'm pretty sure they would want HCA against them.

HOW DOES SAN ANTONIO LOSE THAT GAME? At this time of the season??

    I mean, seriously.

This has to be be seen as a real chink the armour, the Spurs of years gone by would never slip up like this.

Finally they are showing some cracks... :)

The injury has really taken their toll this year for them. Only Parker is really healthy and Duncan is starting to show his age.

Wow, that tie breaker rule is really, really stupid. What the frak does division leader have to do with anything? We have won the head to head matchup.

    Stupid system.

Assuming you're talking about the Spurs, the Rockets are 2-2 against them this season, so the next tiebreaker would be division record, which puts the Spurs head of us.

It's very hard to predict how teams will play the last few games.

Since there really isn't any advantage between the 5th through 7th seed, I think it's safe to say the incentive to get the 5th seed is not strong.

Even HCA isn't a big motivation.

I think we have a shot at the #2 seed, and for us, it would mean more. But the only problem is that it most likely will mean we have to play our greatest playoff nemesis, the Utah Jazz. (well, to me, our greatest was Seattle, but they don't exist anymore).

More importantly, we get to avoid the Lakers bracket.

For us to get the 1 or 2 seed, a few things have to happen.

We can only lose one game. Because Denver isn't going to lose more than two it appears, and neither is San Antonio. In fact, I think Portland will have to win in SA for us to get the number 2 seed - possible the way the spurs are playing, but somehow you know these guys will fight to hold onto that 2 seed out of pride if anything.

So it means we have one exception. Against the Lakers. We have to beat Orlando, NO, and Portland at home. And Phonix on the road.

BUt if we beat the Lakers on Friday - we got the number 2 seed for sure.

Looks like were ready to take the Southwest Division. Just praying Utah keeps losing and ends up facing the Lakers.

I bet the Jazz are planning to lose some games in order to slip to the 7th place.
