I have no idea where the idea of $4.16 mil in a 3 year offer for your first actual nba contract, for an undrafted unproven player, benefiting from playing primarily next to harden for a few games, became some kind of insult

Lol. I'm 100% sure a team will give him a offer. The Rockets are still suffering without him

Maybe it's because he liked a post about DinWiddie beat his hometown team ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    House your record without Danuel?
    House your locker room?
    House your small forward starter?
House about we get that contract inked?

I’m on Morey’s side for this. House was given an okay contract considering he was out of the league before. I’d ask for 2 years at the same rate and see what happens. Two years of consistent play warrants bigger bucks for sure. I want proof before I sign him long term. He’s been on a hot streak that I don’t trust.

Some of y’all need to stop falling for hot streaks.

To be honest, I didnt see anything in his game that justifies more than minimum contract and he should be extremely happy with it.
If after 2-3 years he will show thats he's worth more than im all for it, but he barely played 2 months in the league. There are plenty of young talented guys that would kill for an nba minimum contract. NBA minimum contract equals to the highest pay in Europe, plus you get to play at home and showcase your abilities in the biggest spotlight.
Too many young unproven players think of themselves way too high which leads to them getting out of the league faster than they should.

That's a strange way of saying "The Rockets are totally allowed to have House on their roster and play him this season."

I think yes but not 100% sure.
I’m sure it’s been answered already in his other thread but can someone answer this specifics?

I didnt say it was an insult I just said there is no real incentive for him to sign it unless he doesn’t think he can make it in the NBA (and let’s be realistic even if he does get bounced out of the league guys never think that they aren’t good enough)... in fact if he did sign it that would be concerning kinda like when Jonathan Singleton signed his contract before even playing in the big leagues.

And to be clear I’m on the Rockets side on this I don’t think we should offer him more then the minimum I just realize that it’s not a great deal for House. All we should do is convert his contract now and let him prove himself the rest of the year and if someone else wants to pay him fine.

Harden is now maximum performance, if we fix the small forward loophole, we really have chances to beat warriors. I suggest morey to sign house

    House us done.

    He is burning bridges already.

Can he help? Sure for NOW. But the trade deadline can change all that.

Rockets trade for or gets a better player at his position then no need to have him.

He is a NOW asset and Murray wants to have control for 3 years instead of letter him walk at end of year. That Restricted BS doesn't work for him if he is good.

So the bet is he may be good so both sides want control.

But time is not on his side.
