Maggie Haberman with the NYT reported yesterday I think that Trump has talked asked about pushing for faithless electors but per her reporting it doesn’t sound like it’s likely anyone is going along with it.

I think the primary issue is PA, MI, and WI are the states where it would need to happen and there’s enough responsible people and Democrats involved in the certification process to not be able to follow through. Plus you have AZ, GA, and NV too now. Too many states, not enough hacks.

That’s why I always said the states I’d worry about are Texas and Florida if it came down to them. The state officials in those two states are crooks.

So the scary part is it’s confirmed that he pushed to overthrow Democracy and probably would have been successful if there was better planning on their end and if Biden wouldn’t have had such an overwhelming victory. This is why so many people were saying it couldn’t be close.

I mean even just imagine if Biden didn’t win NV and AZ and if PA didn’t have a Democrat as Secretary of State who runs the certification process. Even just those two things which could very well be the case had been able to make this much more likely.
