How much new revenues do you believe you can raise via new taxes per annum? Getting back simply to $0 is not good enough. You need a massive surplus to begin paying down the debt.

You think you're going to levy new taxes which not only raise another $1.7 trillion per annum but also exceed that and give us a surplus to pay down the debt? Give me a break.

Cut spending? Where are you going to cut spending from? By how much?

The total wealth of all the billionaires is something less then $5 trillion dollars. Even if you confiscated every red cent of every billionare in the United States you'd reduce the debt from $34 trillion to a measly $30 trillion.
