Will the excessive heat damage my vehicle? Since my parents' cars have to park inside the garage, my car only can park on the drive way, it's been like this for the whole summer, and I begin to worry about it.
Ha ha suckers. Its 75 sunny with 40% humidity here in Charlotte and I have 18 holes and a cooler full of beer calling my name. I'm outta here in 50 minutes and counting.
Where I'm at, it is currently 78 degrees but the sun is covered up and there is a little wind....being inside next to the AC is awesome. I've been real lazy this summer, doing my best not to go outside in the hot weather. I too can't wait until the first cool front, and preferably not one that basically makes it feel like only 105 instead of 115. I don't exactly like the cold, but I think I like it a little better than this weather.
Boy, its very pleasant outside this morning. Fees like fall weather. My outside temp thingy says 68 degrees. Is fall here early?
'04 Ford F-150 5.4L SuperCrew. Yea, mpg sucks. But, wth, I try not to think about it, and just enjoy the ride.
This morning was awesome, I went running, and everyone (including very good looking moms) was up and running, and in all around good moods. Good weather = good moods = happy coma.
People up north complain about the cold in winter so it's pretty much the same thing. People hate extreme temps. Eh.
Golf yesterday at World Houston was great. A little warm, but nothing too oppressive. Played the sport well, too.
i love living in Houston (and Texas in general) but i can't stand heat, which makes it difficult to like living here sometimes. since i pretty much start sweating when it's anything over 75, i pretty much don't enjoy the weather until late fall, winter, and early spring rolls around (which is about 2 months it seems). it's great in the winter that it doesn't get down to like 10 degrees with snow blocking the road and stuff like that, but the good few months don't make up for the rest. give me a 60 degree day, overcast (not sure why i like overcast days but i just do), a little breeze and i am in heaven. and is it just me or has it been more humid than ever this summer? i've lived in houston my whole life and can't remember anything like it. i mean there have always been days (even maybe a whole week) where the air is so thick you can barely breathe, but i swear it's been like that everyday for the last month at least. i feel like i've gotta put extra effort into breathing just to suck it in, it's ridiculous. any time i play sports for even 30 minutes i'm completely drenched in sweat because it can't evaporate. i seriously don't remember anything like it.
