It's always happened, it happened at my high school in 1970, it's just there's a lot more access to news now and the more lurid the news, the faster it goes around the world. Back when, it was swept under the rug for propriety's sake.

There is no privacy in the internet age.

I remember that when I was in school as a senior there was a teacher that had just been hired who was only 23, right out of college.

The problem isn't age or attractiveness ( ). The problem is that, as a teacher, you have a responsibility to maintain boundries that are appropriate for the student-teacher relationship. If you can't do that, you can't teach. End of story.

And it doesn't matter how close in age they are or how attractive she is. You make a choice when you choose to teach to respect those boundries. In this case, she was even the wife of the freaking principal. Imagine how that guy must feel.

This isn't just about sex with older attractive women. This is about trust, infidelity and the respecting the teacher-student relationship. But, since most of you guys are happy just acting like Bevis and/or Butthead, I'll let it go.

I know who you are talking about and the thought of sex with her never crossed my mind. I don't think her age 23 equals some of these other age 23 teachers from today.

reminds me of high school spanish class. hottest freaking redhead spanish teacher fresh outta A&M. redhead, always stood near the window where the sun would shine through her dress. rode a harley to school sometimes too. all we did was make lude comments and she had a good time with it. now, I can't speak a lick of spanish of course, but what a class (waxes poetic).
and as for male teachers hitting on chicks, yeah my math teacher always had a harem of girls in his classroom during his off periods. and as soon as one of my classmates graduated college, they were engaged. absolutely it's been happening for a while. I think that the "quality" of the teachers have improved though, for reasons previously mentioned.
