I never understand all this environmental panic... Humans always adapt and find new innovative ways to live their lives... if and when oil runs out or we get to the point where we have to ration it... they'll probably invent something else by then... All this fuss over trees and animals? Pathetic. Humans > Everything else.

I'll take animals over most humans any day of the week. When's the last time an animal flipped you off even though you had the right-of-way? Or broke into your friend's house and robbed literally everything he had? Screw them!
You are a human. If you are so convinced that animals are superior life forms, you have an easy way to make one less human to crowd out their world.
I don't mean don't recycle, everyone abuse animals, etc. But I would put the human race's priorities over the priorities of wildlife and vegetation.
