    Will this FINALLY happen?

Can this horse break the drought and make history?

Congrats to American Pharoah, kinda cool to see a horse finish it off after coming so close (winning the first two legs) the past few years:
    • 2002 War Emblem
    • 2003 Funny Cide
    • 2004 Smarty Jones
    • 2008 Big Brown
    • 2012 I'll Have Another
    • 2014 California Chrome

This is cool, but I missed it sadly. Would have liked to see it live.

    Secretariat is insane.

    Here were his three runs:

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/74Usj3K4oZ0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/eV89InWOENc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vfCMtaNiMDM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Secretariat starts off slow and then when he decides to go its over. Its like he is just toying with the other horses.

I feel bad for sham the horse that was second to Secretariat . Sham was a super fast horse but Secretariat is a machine.

AP dominated in all 3 races but as posted above wasn't even close to the all-time greats times -- awesome to watch today though no doubt.

Considering like most i have no interest in Horse Racing outside of these 3 races, I always find myself oddly invested when there is a chance at the triple crown.

Really was a lot of fun to watch.

Belmont Stakes spokesman John Durso Jr. told ESPN's Darren Rovell that 94,128 $2 American-Pharoah-to-win tickets were bought at Belmont Park and Aqueduct Racetrack, but 90,237 of the $2 tickets, worth $3.50, went uncashed.
