Heck, why not try bringing back John Stockton too. Or Magic Johnson. I wonder if Steve Kerr can still shoot.... (Big hint: They are washed up ... including Horry ... duh)
Did you watch how horrible Horry was last season with the Spurs? He made one bank in 3 at a kind of clutch time. Hes totally lost it by this point. NO /thread
I love Horry's game, good entry passer, plays good defense. But he looked old and washed up against the Lakers last year. Father time gets us all.
this would be great, if is able to join the rocket, he would be a big help and his size and playoff clutch performances, it's a plus.
bring back the wizard while we're at it <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UwU841N7Y8o&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UwU841N7Y8o&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
This board literally makes me want to kill myself http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=160581 Not even a week ago I put up this suggestion and I get non-emphatic, apathetic responses and a 2 star thread. This guy puts the same thing up a few days later and he's a 5-star thread genius. Blah
Saw Horry over the holidays at Cobains bar in Houston boozing. That would be a terrible move to pick him up...he's been bad for a while. Now the wizard on the other hand...Id buy a ticket to see him.
I would love to have him back, but don't we need a SG or a SF right now in the absence of TMac and Artest?
Much respect to Horry, his career, and accomplishments, but Last thing we need is another aging injury prone player.
He could be valuable piece in playoff run. I don't know if he has good relationships with Rockets players. Barry really helped Brooks on the court to gain his confidence.
EXACTLY. With Horry on the roster, you win between 1-4 playoff games you would have lost. its like a handicap, almost cheating in fact. He just goes bananas when it is unexpected, but - in retrospect - terribly crucial times. Not just game winning shots, but crazy defensive plays, momentum starting threes, etc. Your heart knows what your mind fears. Bring him back.
