Currently 100% on RT with 92 votes Worth checking out tomorrow. Probably the best horror film since Don't Breathe. Directed by Jordan Peele from Key & Peele.
Dude from Atlanta in this? I'm sold. I had to watch 50 Shades last week. This is probably a better rom-com than that.
I'm not saying... If anyone is thinking about seeing it, do it soon before someone spoils it for you.
When I saw the trailer in the theater ( Fences ) I first had to laugh at the whole white thing, but the trailer was pretty darn good so by the end of it I was intrigued. The trailer released on cable seemed not as good, and like a poster said, it appeared to reveal the entire story and made it more campy. Was less intrigued. Obviously with all the good reviews, that was not the case. Now I want to see again.
Don't wanna ruin it homie. But I'll spoiler. DO NOT CLICK UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TWIST! Spoiler The girl's family have been doing a surgery on black people to take out more or less their free will and swapping in older white people to live in their bodies while the original black people get stuck hopelessly. The girl will date black guys (and girls), bring them to their house, meet the family, have a big party with family friends, then auction off who the black body will go to. Definitely worth a watch!
