Oh and I suppose you could do better. When are the Rockets ever going to start listening to us. Oh wait, probably never. We're just here for the cheers, beers and tears.
I would love that this serves as a reverse jinx. I am not the only one frustrated with the 30+ year failure of this team. We are the joke of the NBA right now. We freaking pay a player 47 million to sit on the bench. Getting the 3rd-7th pick doesn’t fix much, just as JGreen hasn’t fixed much. Call a spade a spade but we are not another rookie or two away fron success here. If we were we wouldn’t be getting the same number of fans as the WNBA games get.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Fertitta made us the Joes Crab Shack of the NBA. A couple decent things on the menu but overall a huge disappointment.
we already have the rising star on our roster and he aint getting playing time good role and appropriate training
I can't wait to watch Christian Wood play selfishly for another year (with zero d) and then demands the max because he thinks he's a superstar! Can't wait to see poor EG rot with us instead of competing for a title. Can't wait to see Evan Mobley turn into a top 50 NBA player years before Green will sniff being an all-nba player. Well, at least we didn't trade Wall for Westbrook and 2nd round picks! We definitely want our tank commander sitting at home doing nothing.
Kings apparently do things every year and mess up year after year. We've apparently messed up by not doing anything after a year or two. At least I think I got that right.... maybe not.
My approach to @Imanimal and his threads is like this: 1. His account didn't get created until after Kenneth Faried came into town in 2019 2. The way MDA froze Faried out in that year's playoffs made Faried very mad 3. Faried's nickname is the Manimal So everytime @Imanimal makes a thread about the Rockets I always picture Kenneth Faried, putting on a pair of readers, sitting at his laptop, writing/ranting away because he was THAT pissed off at D'Antoni. It then makes me laugh.
We've done something every year the last few years right? Just terrible things, similar to Sacramento.
Oh the Rockets should have drafted the guy that wouldn't do a pre-draft workout for the team. Got it.
Oh, I thought you meant under Stone/Silas. I can't keep track of who's for and against whom or if they want us to win, lose, or make a trade for the sake of making a trade. lol. In all honesty, I think every team does stupid stuff throughout the course of a few years in retrospect. The Sixers were a laughing stock for a while. The Nets were the greatest offense ever assembled (for about a season or so... less considering their big guns rarely played together). The Spurs are the greatest organization ever who draft steals all the time, but ... they've been losing for 2 or 3 seasons now. Sam Presti is a genius who owns 500 picks, but somehow that's the right way to approach things and ... they'll be in the lottery this year again. I don't think we're on the Kings level of sadness (not anywhere near it yet) after 1 or 2 years of tanking. With them, it's been tradition. We've done some good things and some bad things along the way, just like everybody else.
You know why he wouldn’t do the tryout? His dad coached KPJ and knew he would be an awful influence on his son. Easy way to remedy that. Funny that some players ho to teams to play with bigger name players; we have guys avoiding our team because of players. Everyone loves KPJ but it’s like dating a girl you know you’re not going to marry…..eventually there is going to be a really ugly ending. We’re wasting our time and future with him as he is a walking red flag. By the way, the NBA does not require players to try out in order to be signed by a team. We all knew that if he bulked up he would be a star.
