He should only play if he feels really good. Cause they cant stop our guards getting into the hole and that's what he does best but he's gotta feel good..if not i don't want to see him out there.

By "ready" if you mean he can actually use both arms, then yes.

Lin wasn't going play well if he's not "the" PG. Look at game 1, he was a spot up shooter.

Game 2 and 3 was injury.

If he can contribute to a win then play him. If NOT then sit him. Right now Bev, Garcia and Parsons are the only players to show that they deserve to play in this series.

Obviously you were not watching the game.

Harden just cannot handle the ball and do the scoring all game. Look what happened when he has to handle the ball and try to score?

15 points with 4 of 12 shooting, 3 assists and whopping 10 turned over.

When he played with Lin, even a broken Harden can do better than last night.

In this team, no one beside Harden and Lin can handle the ball, that's why Lin is more valuable than Bev. If Lin is out, like last night, Harden no longer a deadly scorer.

Lin wants to play and contribute, but he doesn't know how many minutes he can sustain.

He should have practices with teammates first.

So this IS about bashing Harden then.... ahh I get it.

Look if Lin can go and help this team win then great. If he's injured to the point where he's going to do more harm than good, I would rather see Beverley and Brooks play.

They sure did a very good job last night at filling in for Lin, and alot of analysts Ive heard comment on the game(Bones, Legler) feel that Beverley is out-playing Jeremy Lin down the stretch of the season, and could force the Rockets to start him next season with his impressive play(their words not mine).

Look Harden did a bad job down the stretch and overall has struggled during crunch time late in the season. I get it. However, that doesn't mean that Jeremy Lin has to take his turn at playing hero ball instead.

The TEAM(notice I said TEAM, and not individuals) needs to push the ball in transition as much as possible to avoid being stuck in half court sets late in games. In the offseason, and training camp will be when the front office and coaches address what players, and sets they want to install moving forward to win these type of games.

Why would any LOF want him to play for the rest or the series lol? If we end up losing in the game he returns in he'll end up getting the blame.

Shut him down for the rest of the series and let him put in work in the offseason. He's getting traded if he isn't like 2x better next year so I'm sure he won't be doing any Asian tours in the summer.

The OP wanted Lin to be healthy and contributing. Wow, that touched a sensitive nerve. It's sooo wrong to wish a Rockets player to be healthy, of course only when he's Jeremy Lin.

Nobody has wished for a poor showing from Lin, and yet some self-claimed "team only fans" couldn't hold their enthusiasm back, quickly denied Lin's comeback, because they are "worried" Lin might not perform well.

The guy is no world-beater, and nobody expected him to be or ever gave him hope to be half-decent. He has been dismissed throughout his basketball life, and he only came back stronger. Last time I checked, Lin has been a starting PG on Houston Rockets since the first game of the season.

No, appreciation is always too much to ask on the best basketball online forum. Fairness is something luxury when it comes to Lin. But for those tough guys behind the keyboard, who always spit out hatred while waiving that "team first" flag, please enlighten me how a healthy Rockets player is bad for the team, EVEN IF that player's name is LIN?!

It's the cyber world, I don't know anyone here. I could care less who you like/dislike or root for failing. But on a Rockets fan forum, one should at least try to pretend they want ALL players on the team to be healthy and contributing. Yes, even if you have to bear the unthinkable thought, that scrub Lin needs to be included, as long as he's on the team. Well, please don't forget to do that in the name of the TEAM.

The showing of some posters here are just pathetic, but it says a lot more about you than about Lin. Hope you are better in real life.

At this moment in time I personally think their bettor off with keeping Brooks in the lineup, his quickness against Fisher is a huge huge edge right now.

In a perfect world, i would love to see Harden and Lin wreak havoc in the playoffs in the near future. Just wait for them to mature and figure it all out as they journey through these learning experiences.

Let him heal up. I'm not sure he can help a lot right now. Bev and Brooks found a rhythm, let's not disrupt that.

I hope Lin will be back...we're playing at OKC...Lin always plays with a lot of intensity on the offense when allowed...he willing to take the abuse driving in thats what i love about this guy....he will drive head on with no disregard...i will not play chicken with this guy. If he can or allowed to play this way it will create a lot of space. PB is extremely similar to Lin but more on the defensive end. The ball needs to be out of Harden hands during clutch time....he's turning the ball way too much and his passing is terrible....please leave it to the PG for passing. Just drive Harden just drive...I rather you miss driving in then taking those lazy jump shots and pass.

I almost hope Lin actually does get traded next year, and I love the Rockets and I love Lin. I would certainly root for any team he lands on and I'd continue to root for the rockets.

I just find it so annoying how much most Rocket fans seem to hate on their own point guard of the future for no reason. He's the most unappreciated player there is here and I get so sick of reading all the hate. He has done all the right things and said all the right things despite not being allowed to play the role he is comfortable with, all the while outperforming his contract. What more did you really expect at this age?

You guys need to stop being haters all the time and start being Rocket fans and watching the games objectively without hate oozing through your veins, you're ruining a good thing.

Im not hating, Im speaking the truth, I love Harden as a person in all but, he is to damn inconsistent with his jumper and making costly turnovers and was not shutting anybody down with his defines in this series. He is definitely a liability .
