Lol Rockets have no chance of making this a 7 game series or winning the series without Lin. Anyone disagreeing with this, reevaluate how neutral you are to the Rockets as a team ignoring how you feel about Lin (like him or don't like him). Team needs him to extend this series to the max, its too thin without him. Time will tell that either way. Tough hole to climb out of, down 0-3 and we need everyone.
everyone in the team contributed. It was major from harden, lin and parson, so yes, team need to be focus and play ball and not nit picking on fouls, TO, and trying to get foul line (we still need then thru harden, he is great in that). Harden just needs to trust his team more and play of his team if his shot are not falling rather than iso. He obviously can go iso, but he should when to do it. As for jeremy, he needs to take command; shout and yell at his team to get the ball moving and not sticking around in a corner. He even need to pick it up with harden, tell him off that I'm here for playmaking for the team to win. If you saw, in today's play AB did that to harden, and asked the ball to be handed over to him. Thats how Lin need to be commanding and aggressive towards rim as well. Asik and beverly made huge blocks today. If not for the last block from PB and OA, we could have lost; obviously the other reason was the missed shot from OKC end (its gonna give them nightmares tonite). CP and FG was tremendous today, and they need to keep the fire burning. Together with CD who made some important 3s today for overall run. Thats team play!! which brought here to playoffs. Everyone needs each other.
that turnover proned lin that showed up in game 4 , I do not want! but if it's lin that runs the tempo, facilitates he has to be out there.
Only Lin Sucked. The whole team did. FG% was in the low 30's for the whole team in first game. That means nobody showed up to play.
What happened to all the "Sample size!" people who wouldn't give credit to Lin for Linsanity? Why are they all of a sudden willing to make Beverley a starter after a couple of good games? It's almost as if they have an agenda and aren't completely objective or something!
I mean this in all seriousness and not to instigate a fight, but that $8M cap hit isn't looking great right now. His trade value has got to be really, really low right now too.
You're going to trade him after a solid season in which he played in all 82 games, just because of one bad playoff game and two in which he was rendered ineffective due to an injury?
I hope he can play and have a good game so he can take some positive memory of the series into the off season.
Jesus, such venom for the guy. I want to see him back healthy and ready to contribute. Just because we had one game where everything goes right doesn't mean OKC won't adjust to us. God forbid Bev gets in foul trouble again and we are forced to put Harden at PG. He played fine in game 2 before he got hurt. Game 3 was just sad watching him stumble about n pain. We took this one, he HAS to be ready for this game. He brings defense and passing ability to our team, and brings another option besides Harden ISOS.
The Jeremy Lin from earlier in the season? Yes, please. The Lin from game 1 and half of games 2 and 3? No thank you.
Wish him the best. He's the second best player in terms of upside. His best games far passed the best games of other players not named Harden.
