I think that has been a great part of Houston's last 2 wins. OKC does not have adequate PG's. OKC looks disorganized on the court and Durant is the only one who can put the ball on the floor with any dexterity. How many assits were made by their point guard collectively. I don't have the numbers, but I bet it was very low.

We need Jeremy as another healthy body. He's gotta play for us, whether its starting or coming in as 6th man. I guarantee they still will need him even with brooks playing.. With a 4 guard/sf rotation and injuries to delfino, its a must he get healthy and play. If not game 6, game7. Next series if we get there, he should be given starting duties, at least initially. He's earned that much this year...

This. It doesn't look good for Delfino, so we need Lin Friday. I don't think he'll cut into AB's minutes much at all -- we just need Lin to give a solid 15-20 minutes where Carlos normally would.

You make it sound like Lin stunk it up in game 2. We were down 2 before he sat. If anything losing him hurt us cause AB was a reason why they were in a hole in the 3rd quarter and had to dig themselves out.

No, you need your version checked. Harden played poorly in game 4. He played great in game 5. He played well in those other games too. He certainly didn't play terrible in the previous 4 games. He scored 30 and 36 in 2 of the first 3 games. Scoring 30 and 36 against OKC isn't playing terrible.

Jeez, with the finger pointing. I knew there was a reason I stopped posting as much and reading as much in the GARM. There's many reasons why it's 2-3 OKC and not 3-2 Rox. Lin is only one of many of the reasons. He is also one of the many reasons the team is even in the playoffs.

Da hell wrong with some of you?

It's not great, nor is it terrible. I didn't say he was flawless just that he wasn't terrible.

    Again scoring 30 and 36 isn't terrible.

Remember Rocket fans...W/Ls don't matter...Lin playing well (at all) is all that matters for the future of the franchise...

I am a firm believer in JLin because he has proven that he can play with the best of them especially when Harden was out with injury and lets not forget about NY.

This is important reason why JLin needs to be back. If for any reason Harden goes down. Who will we be looking for? Who will rise to the occasion as the main guy? Please don't tell me PB...He's been great so far and I love what he has done...but seriously?

If Harden was out of the equation... I sure don't want to be banking on PB to win us games....not now anyway.

We were extremely fortunate Garcia was on fire when harden was shooting terrible. I am so excited Harden got his shooting back...I hope it continues.... Our team depth so far is simply amazing!

I am happy we were able to pull 2 wins out of this series....it met my expectation. To win this series would be totally amazing but extremely far fetch. I don't think OKC ever loss 4 in a roll in a regular season....and to win the series from 3-0 deficit....would be the defination of Linsanity. :)

My concern with Lin is he'll play passive and tentative because he doesn't want to disrupt our flow. But that's exactly what we can't have.

Agreed. Part of me also wonders what pressure he'll be under to perform both because of how well Beverly/Brooks have played in his absence along with how poorly he played before the injury. The last think you want is KMartin type pressure on a guy with a fan base ready to pounce on any and every poor play, which is likely what will happen if he comes back and doesnt perform immediately....

I think even if he is fully fit they'll protect him by giving limited spot minutes saying he hasn't practiced for a week. That way, if he does really well, they let him play more but if he isn't playing well they can quickly bench him and say he's not fully ready. He'll have an extremely short leash in other words. Everyone wins with valid excuses.

We do need Lin back if Delfino is out. No reason he can't play the same role as Delfino.

Lin had 1 bad game in the first game where EVERYONE played poorly.

He played decent in game 2 before he got injured.
He played poorly in game 3 because he tried to play through the injury.

Lin is capable to play at a high level, especially without Westbrick.
Good defensive PGs give Lin troubles. That's not news.

He played pretty well in April until his first Playoff game against a top PG and #1 seed.

Beverley played well and AB stepped up. That's good for the team.

That would be wise, but even then I can see people pouncing on poor performance if he doesnt do well. In some ways he's in a no-win unless he's able to come in and outperform Beverly/Brooks, which is unlikely as their main advantage in this series is quickness which he doesnt have.

I wouldn't mind having Lin replace Aaron Brooks 12.5% 3 point shooting in the rotation.

That was from midday yesterday. The Morey interview was from today... apparently the Rockets were encouraged by his workout right before the game last night. I doubt Lin starts, but reading between the lines, Morey sounded cautiously optimistic about him giving us some minutes tomorrow.

I'd rather have James Anderson play if Delfino is out because he's the better 3 point shooter.

Having Lin on the floor along with Bev and Brooks makes him useless. Lin is good at pushing the ball but we've already got Bev and Brooks to do that.
