Heard on today's Rocketscast that it's a bone bruise that Lin has?

No Lin = no chance. Lin is the best chance we have to be a champion!

Need Lin to take pressure off Harden. Right now Lin and Harden are the only ones who can create their own shot.

Well Greg Smith in the post too, but he's -100 in 10 minutes of gametime.

I thought that part was clear at least. Guess not. Should have known better with some of these posters.

    To Lin Fans:
Again, I don't have a problem if you are a fan of Lin. I don't care if you are a fan of Lin. However, if you put the success of Lin over the Rockets on CF, a site and forum dedicated to the ROCKETS, we have a problem. GTFO out of here and go on some Lin site please.

It might be easier if you just went to a LOH site.

Fair weather fans don't continue to root for mediocre teams which was what we were when our starting 5 is AB, Ariza, Battier, Scola, and Hayes. They don't stay fans after season after season of lottery picks. I root for my team to win, that doesn't mean I stop rooting for them when they aren't winning. I just don't lose track of the team's end goal, championship. I want the team to WIN, not make Lin look good.

For someone who doesn't care for Lin, chenjy has posted probably 10 posts in this one thread and he only has like 2000 total posts. Hmmm

Again, I don't hate Lin, I just simply don't care about him. I think he is merely another cog on a team that can be replaced. Harden and Parsons and also Asik are what I consider "essential" parts unless we trade them for someone substantially better. I do hate most of his fans though.

I respond to people who post to me, probably to my own detriment. If I could edit my post and simply add on to it, my post count in this thread would substantially decreased.

A Lin hater would want him benched permanently. As long as he can help, I am fine with him playing and starting. I hate his fans who say dumb things and think he is the best thing since sliced bread. Lin is who he is, young, inexperienced, and decent PG. Could we do worse, absolutely. Can we do better? Absolutely.

Shhh... Most people don't see it. Since Lin was out on game 4, the same group that calling Lin garbage has to shift their hate to Harden. Now Harden is garbage.

How come this threads become some kind of narcissistic public masturbation?

Isn't this thread about a player who contributes to the success of the Rockets? Why it becomes this holy-than-thou, me-me-me, non-contributing freak show?

Anyways, how is Lin doing? Anybody?

Well if you're using a PG as a SG over half the time, any PG is replaceable. Nash was easily replaceable this year as well
