That was last summers work for Lin - everything left-handed. There was a thread with an interview with his shooting coach where the coach laughed at anyone criticising Lin going left saying he was fine driving left, passing and shooting left. I thought shooting meant lay-up, but if he was actually shooting jump shot left-handed, I would be mightily impressed.
Wow I think you are that kind of "fan", are you ?!? I bet you are jerking now while imagining Lin will keep injured and Beverly to play like garbage in game 5. I really hope you are troll by design coz you are not good enough to become Rockets fan or even the famous LOF
I thought I am done with this thread, but I have to respond to this one. My guess is you've never been to Houston. I don't live in Houston, but I've visited the city multiple times and I have relatives and friends living there. There is NO city can be called a racist city, and Houston is NOT a small town in the middle of nowhere, where nobody in the town has ever seen anyone of different race in life. It is a large city with population of different ethnicity, culture, and background. Whether it's just flame-baiting or pure ignorance, what you said was wrong.
Just now realizing how damn annoying LOFs are. This forum is for Rockets fans, not for worshipping JLiN.
I think both were unfairly criticized and definitely, race is a big factor. Asians just aren't expected to be able to play ball well and that's been the stereo-type forever. Nobody thought an Asian could play well enough in the NBA and it even took Yao some time to change people's minds. People have short memories but tons of people on Clutchfans and at the games would laugh at Yao during the first half of the season and proclaim how we made a huge mistake drafting him and how he was a bust. Yet we give losers like Hasheem Thabeet, Terrence Williams, Stromile Swift, etc. (the list goes on) the benefit of the doubt for years and years and say- they just need time to develop. There is a double standard for those guys and if you don't see that then you're refusing to see the obvious.
If I see Lin in one of his stupid skin tight suits I'm hoping off his charman soft bandwagon, dude needs to man up, this is what the Rockets play for the entire season and he's gonna sit it out cause he has a boo boo on his tit? smfh
did you see how crappy he looked when he tried to play in game 3? the kid is tough as nails but if he can't raise his arms to shoot he's not going to help us win at all. you have to be an idiot to want a guy to play if he's so hurt that he's useless on the court.
Who cares? Lin's going in a sign & trade this summer. Rockets going to go with Beverly and Brooks next season. Brooks who fits in super well next to Harden. Dwight Howard isn't leaving LA. He loves the attention, the drama, and the Lakers will offer him the most money allowed (Dallas offers 2nd most, Houston a distant 3rd). Kobe will be injured most of the beginning of the season so it can be "Dwight's team", which is what he wants anyways - all the attention until it goes bad then he'll blame someone else. They'll sign Dwight to big money, then move Gasol. Utah will keep Millsap, and sign & trade Al Jefferson to Houston. Lin will be part of that package back to Utah, who's in desperate need of a PG. They wouldn't mind a ball-dominate, pick & roll PG at all. It'd be to the benefit of Kanter and Favours. Houston: C. Asik PF. Jefferson SF. Parsons SG. Harden PG. Brooks Delfino Beverly D-Mo Jones Utah: C. Favors PF. Millsap SF. Hayward SG. Foye PG. Lin Kanter Mo Williams Marvin Williams
No, no, no. Don't go there dude. If someone is a LOH, there could many other factors other than race: - they don't like christians - they resent someone who got a degree at an ivy league school - they initially thought he was a scub and are too stubborn to change their mind - they like trolling Lin fans, some of whom are too sensitive and fail to see the trolling What makes Lins appeal so wide reaching is also why he attracts so many detractors. So don't throw a whole city under the bus, most of the LOH who post here are probably not from Houston and not representative of the city or real Rockets fans.
