I wasn't defending Lin, BUT he is unfairly criticized sometimes. For example, you can't compare Yao at his prime to Lin now. That's why Yao was a beast. You wouldn't have put up with an injury prone yao his first or second year, either. Plus, we still don't know if Lin is injury prone. 2 injuries a year apart in different parts of the body. My point was, a lot of Lin's fans overreacted by overrating him early on this season, which is what triggered other fans to overreact and underrate him. Because of this, he rarely gets rated where he should be.
Is this a joke? Why is he even doing this... lol. If an injured Lin is playing in game 5, shooting left handed shots, I'm going to have a heart attack.
hahahah... nah i think he's just keeping himself in game shape in case he can go tomorrow night. and might as well work on his left while he's at it. it he still can't get his right arm above his head to shoot, i doubt he'll be out there.
I agree. I was referring to the post you quoted. I compared Lin with Yao because both players are injury prone players with good work ethics. Yao was worth the max because when he was on the court he played great. Lin hasn't really played well enough to deserve his contract so far when you factor in his injuries and inconsistency. The only thing that balances out these factors are his potential and work ethic. If he continues to work on his game I believe he will reach that potential so long as he doesn't get injured. Do I want him to play? If he says he's ready and he looks good.
I want a HEALTHY jeremy lin to play against the thunder on wednesday. If he can't go, I have no problem having ab take his minutes.
How is Lin injury prone? He played every game this season and last season he had a meniscus tear. So 1 injury = injury prone? His chest contusion was an anomaly not the norm, could have happened to anyone. If Lin's "injury prone" then so is Harden, Melo, Lebron, Wade, Parsons, list is endless.
Lol is this sarcasm? A chest contusion can certainly be debilitating but they don't take 3 months to heal. He should be good to go in at most a couple weeks.
"going through pretty strenous drills" That tells me he's testing his injury for the game, not just getting in some left handed work.
Why hasn't he deserved his contract? Did he not play every game this year? Was he not an integral part of the Rockets making the playoffs? Are you just regurgitating what's said around here?
I think fans don't want to hear the word "try". Either he can or can't, too important of a game to give it a "try".
LOL...Lin is worth every penny and more to this organization this year. The guy played every game in the regular season and brought increased viewership.
I'm sure he's doing his best to get ready for the game. By game time, it will be a 100% healthy or not decision to play.
He led the team to the Clippers win? 40% FG, 3 assist, 6 turnovers, 0 steals. lol I guess Harden led us to the win in game 4.
Please don't play Lin game 5 if they lose (which is highly likely) I don't want to hear people blaming him. He's injured let him sit the rest of the playoffs and let PB and AB prove they deserve to be NBA players.
