What is contributing in a big way? Like 20/10?

I guess with your standard, CP3 must not contributing in a big way in game 3 and 4. Base on most people's standard on Lin, if CP3 is the PG for Rockets, he should be traded the off season.

This should be a coach call. If Harden is playing like garbage, a coach should do what is right and pull Harden out. If Lin is playing well and you see fire in him, then let him play. Just because he is not scoring, it doesn't meant he is not contributing. Same with Harden, just having Harden on the court already distracting the defense.

Lin haters won't believe it, but this is from Woj's recent article:

"People want to believe Lin has bailed on the Rockets, but make no mistake: The organization – front office, coaches and players – believe he had been the toughest guy in the room for trying to play Game 3.
Privately, Lin understood he probably shouldn't have tried to play, but he was determined to play a part in the biggest game of the season. Only, it got so bad on Monday that the organization believed he could further injure the chest with a re-aggravation. In a last-ditch try within an hour of the game, those watching him shoot in the practice gym agreed: It was futile.

"There was nothing else he could've done," general manager Daryl Morey told Yahoo! Sports. "He tried. He had no choice."

Lin in April pror to the playoffs was averaging 17 and 8....his numbers have climbed consistantly since the allstar break.....over the last 2 months i could argue that he was our best player.....Harden has been simply awful in crunch time....

A post doesn't change my mind, I'm going by what I've seen the 82 games of this season. Once againthis isn't about physicalthis is about mental. If your still lost, go watch how beverly enters each game then watch jeremys approach. There is a difference ya know;)

An injured Lin hurts the team, better sit him. He's not an significant upgrade at PG when Beverley's playing the best basketball of his life.

Lin's shooting with his left hand in practice right now. Lolz. That's a disaster waiting to happen. He needs to sit the rest of the series out. Bev and Brooks are more than enough.

Lin did bad in game 1 but he showed up in game 2 even though he didn't play the whole 2nd half. He was on point for a pretty decent game. If you double his minutes to match Bevs contribution, they would've been almost identical. And then people see how he suffered in game 3 due to his injury and then we get all these people saying he should just sit his ass down for the rest of the post season because he sucks and let Bev and Brooks play.

Lin won't be ready. He will milk this injury until they're out of the playoffs. He scared.

I see. The whole bit you posted earlier is about him being a wuss and letting him sit is about the mental, and not about the physical inability to raise his right arm above his chest. Silly me, I thought it was just another example of mindless Lin bashing like the folks in NYC last year when he had his knee injury.

I confess, I'm good at a lot of things but I can't read Lin's mind to tell you if he's weak between the ears. Maybe the issue with you is that he's too mentally weak to have his mind overcome matter and just not be such a wuss and get out there.

I do see that Lin hesitates from time to time, largely because it's a harden dominated offense and he's playing within that. He also turns over the ball more than I'd like.

But wait, does that mean he's mentally weak, or still learning the game? I mean, the guy's Asian and graduated Harvard. I'd think he's pretty smart.

I'm also worried that you also think that Harden is mentally weak.

This whole discussion has me worried. Am I mentally weak?

I think he'll get a shot to play but with a pretty short leash if he's not effective.

So you conveniently forget how Brooks pissed away game 2 while he was on the court just to bolster your anti-Lin agenda. Nice.
