OK....so I took my own advice and googled it.

Sure enough....it is off of O' Brother.....

The song is: Big Rock Candy Mountain.

Guess I'll have to pop in the DVD tonight.

if you sell 20 million albums i wouldn't really think that you'd need to build up a nest egg for your daughter's college fund. if he got paid 750k, she better get a damn good ivy league education

This is the first Satire i've seen about them since one back in the 1990's dealing with space aliens. The commercial is doing its job. :)

He didn't really say that. It was Satire. Considering CRV raked in over 100 million, and they made something in the neighborhood of 40 million touring i think they're doing fine.

Sorry to bring this back up but i had to after seeing this

    http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/93/roost.html

This small, mostly informal meeting on a balmy December day -- typical of the many like it that happen all the time in the agency's 300-person-strong Coconut Grove headquarters -- was called in part to recast a Burger King television spot that was to break in mid-February to push the chain's latest chicken sandwich, the Bacon Cheddar Ranch. The original concept had been to have the ample Dolly (Parton) belt out the tune "Big Rock Candy Mountain" on a surreal fantasy ranch where an average working Joe could escape reality for a custom-made "Have It Your Way" meal.

How do you go from Dolly to Darius?

    :)
