They all flop. It's just that the Jazz do it way too much and rely on it. You a Jazz lover, or something? -- droxford
Can care less. I just get annoyed whenever someone complains like this is some new tactic. The Jazz might have been good at it, but in recent years players like Divac and Fisher have taken it to a new level. Even good defensive players do it now on a regular basis. Point is, every team does it......the good teams have players who can do it well.
I despise the Jazz and will continue as long as Sloan is their coach. That guy coaches dirty tactics.
I surely like the fact that the Jazz didnt make the playoffs. But overriding that feeling is not wanting Malone to get a ring. Down with Karl Malone!!!!!! Down with the lakers!
But the Jazz seem to have started it, also combined with more b****ing to the refs and all around dirty play (at least from Stockton and Malone). It's not like we selected the Jazz out of the 28 other Rockets' opponents for no good reason.
It is certainly true that there was good reason to hate the Jazz most out of the 28 teams. But I think Overrated has a point. If Yao did some flopping of his own against Shaq, I'm sure this board would praise Yao's intelligence. The fact is, flopping happens everywhere. And it didn't start with the Jazz. It's as old as the charging rule. That said, I hate flopping. I hate floppers like Divac and Fisher. As someone mentioned, these guys take flopping to another level. BTW, all soccer fans know that flopping in soccer is a very common sight. It's just part of the game.
Holy ****. Seems there's someone on this board with some common sense. Thank you Easy. Some of these coaches need to take the time out to teach these tactics, or at the very least bring someone in that can. It's obvious these skills have become very important to the current NBA. Yes, a comment like this would have been a joke several years ago, but no longer. Besides, why hate this new cast of characters?
Why do Longhorns hate Aggies? Why do Boston fans hate NYY fans? They could switch their rosters out, and it wouldn't matter. Our rivalry isn't as fierce as those mentioned above, but it does exist.
no offense to anyone, but if you are on a rockets fan site and have to be explained the reasons for our hatred of the jazz than you have not been a rockets fan for very long. death to the jazz!
Good lord, you don't even have to be a Rockets fan to hate the Jazz. I don't know anyone in the Western Conference that actually likes Utah even a little. Don't care about the East enough to check wiht them.
What logic or reasoning can you ever find for hatred? Hate is hate. It is pure. It is true. It is what make us human (just as much as love). Its low makes the highs higher. A surplus of hate increases the value of love. And if evil came to town and played basketball, he'd wear a Jazz uniform, and all would hate him. -- droxford
