B/c he is only talking about himself way to COCKY. This is a team sport that's what he needs to be talking about. I love JT, but C'mon man this is a team sport.
No, because he is so right-wing he can only fly in circles. The lad has no left wing and no concept of a basketball play called an assist -- or a pass for that matter.
Just pass the damn ball JT!!! No, really, if he can come in and contribute defensively as well, that would be alright.
He's going to keep squawking until he's traded, and we don't need that distraction. The Rockets need to trade him, or give him some minutes with the hope of increasing his trade value.
That Rick sure has some high standards. Just tap the guy already so he can show how the REAL motion offense is done.
The fact that he doesn't understand his shortcomings in a team game means he is never going to fix his issues and get on the court. He's probably one of the 5 or 6 best one-on-one players on the team but he can't seem to grasp that that doesn't make him a good team player.
He may not be politically correct or even polished, but gotta love his fire. He has a chip on his shoulder, looking forward to seeing him get more minutes.
I wonder if some of you guys would've defended Adelman's decision not to play Gerald Wallace as well. Have you guys considered that maybe Taylor actually IS outplaying guys in practice? It is entirely possible that he is scoring at will in practice and showing defensive flashes, yet Coach is just more comfortable with what he has. Comfort isn't always beneficial, especially when you have the built in job security excuse of "injuries" and "Yao" and "need an elite player" etc. I have little doubt that when Taylor leaves, he will make an impact somewhere at least in the Azubuike (GSW) level. Considering how our offense is structured, is that such a bad thing?
