    This deal cant happen.

The Wizards would have to add a player for the trade to go through.

A few things wrong with this:

    1) We'd have to get a player back for Head. He makes little, so it's probably not that hard to throw us a scrub.

    2) Why would we EVER say who we're moving up for? That pretty much guarantees another team trying to move ahead of us to get him.

Washington is under the cap right now, so they can take on Head's measly 1 million dollar contract.

T.E.? I am no cap guru, but is it possible to trade Luther Head for a T.E. and then a separate trade for our picks, essentially making it 2 trades? I am not sure if they have one though.

Maybe we are not really looking to take Courtney Lee, I'm not really a big fan of this trade though. But we will see what happens if this goes down.

I am hoping Lee is a smokescreen.

Lee could probably step in immediately and contribute. The kid can really shoot the ball and has descent size for an NBA 2 guard.

I heard this on talk radio... No reliable sources just yet. But I'm also hearing that this trade is imminent.

Pretty sure he is. Morey said NOTHING about landry or brooks last year. Wouldn't surprise me if he picked someone we never really thought much of this year.

If there's something he learned from CD, its to keep his mouth shut (or dance around the media). Difference between the two? Morey drafted Gay (yeah yeah so we got Battier essentially), AB, Novak, Landry, Scola (For Vspan, who we paid the rights to Dallas for the 55th pick) and Newley.

They blew TONS of smoke screens then, and rush, green, lee this year. We're probably going to get a big, like I suspected, in Hibbert, Lopez, etc. (God I hope I'm wrong)

The only player eligible to be traded to us who would fit the salary requirements is Oleksiy Pecherov ($1,345,800) who I see us having zero interest in (though that's not a requirement).

Other than that, I think "cash considerations" would take care of it.

I hope this rumor is true, but considering the source, I'm not getting my hopes up in the least.

It would seem that if this trade were real, that the rockets would be going after Greene at the #18 level, it sounds kind of high for Lee by reading some of the more reliable mocks out there, but who knows. It seems like Greene has serious upside and the same goes for Speights as well.

The Wizards don't have any trade exceptions.

2006, 1st round 18th pick. Completed rookie season this year. Wiz are apparently high on him.
