    If the Spurs don't re-sign him, I hope Morey goes after him if the whole Bosh thingy doesn't pan out.

    Man, I've been saying this for a while now, but the moment the Spurs even hint that they won't re-sign Ginobili, which I think they wont, I might add, we should at least try to go after him.

    I think the Spurs privately aren't gonna re-sign him because of the whole controversy surrounding his decision to play in International competition the last 2 seasons.

    Morey can basically ask him, "So do you want to come to Houston?"

    Manu says, "Why, what can you offer me?"

    Morey responds, " You can play for a contender and play alongside your best friend, Luis Scola!"

    Manu says, "Me encanta Luis Scola! Demonios, sí me gustaría jugar con un contendiente, y mi colega de Argentina!"

    This would make Battier expendable and with the extra money we could go after a back up for Yao, maybe Camby?

    If we don't get either Bosh or Amare, this would be my dream lineup for next season:

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Manu
    Ariza/Budinger
    Scola/Hill
    Yao/Camby

    Don't pick up Chuck Hayes option either.

    Even though I would really want Manu, he'll be stupid to turn down 13 mill a year for a person his age. I think alot of Nba teams would go after him, but only for the mid level.

    Manu pretty much accomplished all he wanted in the NBA... At his age, it's all about the money. Or if money is not an issue, then he can play with Scola... in Houston. ;)

    It would be nice to have Manu on board but we really need an enforcer backup C to play when Yao is on the bench (or injured) :)

    I really think Manu will be there for the Rockets if they want him.

    It doesn't look like SA is going to expend a lot to bring him back, and I think he will want to stay in the NBA (for a few more years). He can play overseas when he is a bit older. He has said before that if he were to ever play somewhere else besides SA, that he would like it to be Houston.

    Offer him the MLE. Trade Hill (young asset) Ariza (asset that Toronto wanted) Jeffries (High Caliber player... ha) and 2010 lotto pick +2012 pick For Bosh.

    Yao/Hayes/DA
    Bosh/Scola
    Battier/Budinger
    Martin/Manu
    Brooks/Lowry

    Looks good to me.
