Why do we need a washedbum like webber. Right now scola is much better then what webber is. noway would i trade head and mike james for a washedup bum like webber. mike james alone is a better player then what webber is now.

Yes but that is pointless. Are you going to trade 2 mediocre centers for Yao or 2 so-so wingmen for Tracy? Trading 2 lesser players for a better player in the same position is a fantasy trade - especially at the pg position.

If we really wanted webber and to have 20 roster players, we could, i believe he is still a FA right now.... not an option.

A fantasy trade that happens all the time.

-Garnett for 2 players in his position plus others.
-Glen Robinson for Jamal Mashburn and Rodney Rogers
-Baron Davis for Speedy Claxton and nothing (okay, not 2-for-1...but worse)
-Eduardo Najera for Rodney White and Nikoloz Tskitishvili
-Dikembe Mutombo for Nazr Mohammed and Theo Ratliff (and Toni Kukoc)

Trades are made like this all the time. Of course, the article doesn't suggest it has to be a clear cut 2-for-1 either. It simply points out the fact that the Rockets should condense their shooting-point guards into a PG that would better suit their style.

(it's my article, by the way)
