They're 19-9 this season, thanks for asking. A better record than Southwest Texas, I might add.

Oh, where's my keychain. Let me wave them at you.

Nothing more sad than a UT fan trying to get a Rice fan to feel bad about sports. bwahahhahahahahha....like telling lowly Rice they can't hang. oh, actually, there is something more sad...it's win UT gets beat by Rice.

poor UT fans, no football championships in over 30 yrs nor basketball final fours and all that recruiting and money, and undying support and nothing to show for it in the big sports.

    poor poor UT fans.

The height of your season is beating OU. Sort of like the height of an Owls fan season is beating UT in anything. Ahhhh, relish in it, like me.

    that's one!!

It's kinda amusing watching heypee freak out after Rice beats UT, luckily we know it hardly ever happens so we don't have to put up with it too much.

Comments about the Rice/UT baseball game from Austin newspaper.

"It's always a good game when we play Rice," Garrido said. "We're growing as we move along. This game was played at the highest level as any game we've played all year.

"This was an Omaha atmosphere," said Teagarden. "We know Rice is one of the toughest teams we'll play this season, so I think we have some momentum going into conference'."

I don't think you quite follow. The joy is seeing UT fans try to taunt us with their superior sports. It's like in high school when the lettermen try to push around the bookworms. pathetic.

it's actually really sad when you realize they only try to push us around, because they are incapable of beating up the bigger boys.

It's the Big Man on Campus with the small dick syndrome.

so sad...If they could only just win in football like they're supposed to, they'd show a little bit more class like a Duke fan is bball.

Not pathetic when the bookworms goad them, then they get what they deserve, locked in the locker, just like y'all were after Omar's throw back in the ancient history of June 2002.

actually..this whole thread is about UT beating a very quality basketball opponent with momentum headed into the NCAA Tourney likely as a top seed.

I'd gladly trade a regular season Baylor win over UT for one year like UT is having right now in hoops.

    C'mon man.

We've got to have HeyP at the UT/Rice game.

Heckling my girlfriend is no fun. She's too much of a good sport - and she asks questions like: why does the other team keep letting Roy score, who is this Cedric person and why is he running all the time, and why are the OL so fat.

That's right, it was a good loss. Something to build momentum off of.

    Pretty much my thoughts exactly.

Even funnier is when somebody who didn't even attend UT behaves in this manner defending UT. It's like the letterman's scrawny next-door neighbor attempting to push somebody around....

I know, hysterical. Sorry that I've been a UT fan as long as I can remember and that I chose to go to SWT over UT (which I also got accepted to) because I simply felt more comfortable there. Had I known it would cause me to carry less weight in an argument with a lousy Rice fan, I would've reconsidered my choice.

Can I not be a Rockets' fan since I don't live in Houston?

We know the real reason you chose SWT over UT was because you wanted to be closer to the outlet mall in San Marcos. Don't lie man.

Let's do it! RM, is Major in? Any of you current students up for a road trip to Houston?

It's infinitely more recent than Rice's last one.

Lots of **** talk from a school has not been to the tourney in 33 years.

Good analogy, seems as though this may hit close to home for some one.

Sounds like what we could expect from heypeewee too :D [IMG]

bigtexxxx....and MadMax's role in this thread is a stadium groundskeeper who would gladly trade one Rudy Ruettiger magical moment for a year like the waterboy, Bobby Boucher, had.

I'm sure he will be. It takes a lot for him to miss a game. Of course, he's too nice to talk ****, so heypee will have someone's shoulder to cry on.
