yeah but i don't think price brings that lock-down type defense that kerr brought.;)

man this was the greatest CBB game for me ever. i mean my goodness, we actually beat ou to snap their 37 game home winning streak and ruin senior day, and all on national tv. never though i'd get to live to see a win so big over ou after these last three horrible fb/cbb years. coming back from 15, hitting big shots, price actually missing a clutch 3 against us, who ever thought they'd see that. i was so friggin hyped after the game. all i wanted was to not get crushed or a lose on a buzzer beater. just take an 7 or 9 point loss and go home. man this was sweet. i think ou will still try to ruin my year at some point by either beating us in the big xii tourney to steal the #1 seed (although i feel the number 1 seed my jinx us anyway) or beat us in the real tourney to end our season as they go on to win the title. but anyway, absolutely stellar day, and then the rockets go on and crush the nets.

Just gave Sydmill props over at the IHOP. He was really happy to hear all the support. Not to mention that he was damn amused when I told him about Hollis on TV.

God Bless Texas. I'm drunk. I'm goin' to bed!

Damn Mizzou almost beat KU which I believe would have made UT co-champs.

I hate women's hoops as much as the next hetero male ;), but how about some props for the UT women as well. Top 5 in nation and Big 12 champions.

I'm not sure how important the conference tournaments are. Remember OU won last year, beating Kansas and still didn't get a #1 seed while Kansas did. It's like everyone's mind was already made up. I think Texas is a no. 1 as long as they win their first game.

Oh, and as far as Barnes coaching the Rockets, I'm sure he'd do as good as other great college coaches in the NBA like Rick Pitino, John Calipari, and PJ Carlesimo. It's a different game.

I was looking for tickets at the Pond for the Arizona regional and they are gone gone gone. But there are still tickets for the South reginal in SA. I would snap them up if I were still in Tejas. Great chance Texas plays there, if not sell them for double or triple to Kansas fans.

Great game yesterday. Texas is the legit #3 team in the country. One thing is for sure, and most important, Texas absolutely will not be in either Arizona or Kentucky bracket. Worst case somewhat plausible scenario is a #2 seed in the MW or SE (overall #6 seed). That could happen if they lose in the Big 12 semis to OU, where they OU beats KU in the final and Florida wins the SEC. With the win yesterday I think there is no way they put Marquette, Pitts, Syracuse or WF over Texas even if those teams win impressively in their turneys and Texas doesn't. OU however could get passed by one or two of those teams though, and into UA or Kentucky's bracket, which is where you don't want to be as a top 10 team.

BTW I am very tired of Hollis Price and glad he is ending his career soon, but I would not be dissappointed at all if the Rockets picked him up int he 2nd round. I think he will make it as an NBA player like I thought Dixon would. Price isn't quite the scorer Dixon is, but not that far off, and probably more athletic with more PG instincts.

LOL. Look at TJ "standing there" laughing.

I've had my eye on Texas basketball ever since my boy Gabe played there. Ford sure is leading that team to higher places. Man, all their starters back next year. The things that team could do is unreal.

I think this year we can win it all, though Arizona is my favorite.

I think Kentucky will get knocked off somewhere, I just don't like their combo of outside-inside like I do teams like UT, OU, Kansas, maybe Louisville depending on Stone.

Arizona just has so much talent, a post presence isnt a huge deal.

My big upset pick would be Florida, the all paper team, losing early in the tourney. If they go cold from 3, they are done.

    Frye's a decent post presence...

I like Xavier to go far in the tourney....that's my upset pick.

Do they have enough guard play to help West is the question. They have been getting very lucky in a weak A-10 recently.

I find it hard to believe that they spent more on tickets than on hot dogs.
