Live in a 3 story house. On the side, there is a very small beehive hanging off the roof.

Had pest control over for a routine spraying and they noticed it. Said I should get rid of it myself before it gets bigger. If they come out it would be $300-$400 to knock it out and they can always come back.

Said I should get on a ladder and just spray the thing with water. Umm...

    A. I am afraid of heights
    B. I am afraid of freakin bees!

Any suggestions? I've been looking for something that can spray water 50 feet, but so far no luck.

Call Billy, or someone like him. I think he sprays them with soapy water or something.

    first google answer:

"Use 10 % seven dust at the mouth or entrance. Just a hand full will suffocate an entire hive. If it is inside the walls or under a patio you can make a bomb launcher with a piece of PVC pipe and an air hose. Once it sticks to them, they carry it to the rest of the hive. The dust will make a trail behind them as they fly away. They don't fly far. This is a good tip I've learned living in West Texas with Africanized bees. The whole hive will be dead within an hour, and its good family fun too"

    Good luck!

They had bees at some astros away game and some guy just came out with an aerosol can and knocked them all out. Get a can of that stuff.
