No one wants to see the Rockets tank the season less than me, but we know what we have. I think we are just one decent and consistent player away from having a team that will go to the playoff annually w/out question. J.J. Reddick would be a great fit on this team where Yao and Tracy command so much attention. A guy like Reddick would hit open shots all day. He shoots long range shots for a high % and he does it with such ease it's as though he's playing around-the-world. He is a player in the range of the Rockets to pick if they do not continue to win games. What will really "p" me off is if they kick butt to get into the 9th spot and dont get in. We will again have to depend on offseason moves or acquisitions. There is very little to hope for if this were to occur.

There's no gurantee that Reddick or Morrision will even be average in this league, even assuming we have a realistic shot at getting either of them. It's amazing anyone would be "p'd off" if the Rox finish ninth after all that has happened this season.

Wouldn't it be more productive to go back in a time capsule to last season when we played pedal to the metal for the last 7 games of the season with a starting backcourt on two bad wheels?

No, I guess not. It's probably better to prognosticate about doing everything we can to get a high lottery pick and what that will really do for us. Whatever.
