Im looking for a security provider that doesn't require a lengthy contract aka brinks (3 yrs). Does anyone have time warner's security system installed? Impressions?
my parents and my sister use a local company for their alarms...can't remember the name of it. you might go through the yellow pages and see if you can find some local alternatives to brink's
I believe Ranger American, at least up here in parts of Dallas, is just a front for ADT, I believe. They're like a middleman. You may as well go to ADT and save some money. Brinks and ADT make you sign contracts. That sucks. There are smaller shops around the Dallas area that people have good things to say about that cost half as much - and they can monitor other manufacturer's equipment in most cases. I can't help you with the Houston area, though...
