One day in high school I sat at my normal spot at lunch and held up a sign that said, "Need money for beer for party." I walked away with at least $40. Has anyone seen the guy at Irvington and Calvalcade playing his ukelele and singing/yelling in a gravely/Tom Waits style. Its f**kin' great.

lol, whats funny is that i was encouraging you to volunteer instead of making generalizations about the homeless, but instead of making a valid response, u get defensive and start calling me a rookie. This thread used to be funny and light hearted. I don't have the patience for this BS. Lord knows I'm the last one to EVER step in the middle of a fight, but seriously. Look at your post: You implied that he's an idiot (not in a funny ha-ha kind of way) and you didn't seem very "encouraging" by challenging him to volunteer. Did you honestly expect for him to respond positively to your post? And why don't YOU try pitching in for this fantastic website that you use? Why not do as you say and help OTHERS? Clutch can't do all this on his own dime. Don't try to demean the rank of those who actually pitched in out of the kindness of their hearts.
i do help others, its called taking time out every week to organize clothes, stock food, feed ppl... sorry if donating to cfans wasnt so high on my list

IMO, this thread was lighthearted until the other guy came in talking about illegal Mexicans and bums needing to get jobs. And the name-calling started with "puto".
