yep, it's so fun to act like you don't know who Doc Rocket is when BJ asks you. I mean, BJ is a Director of actors...lalala

OK, even I am lost on this one. I think BJ is a nice guy, in person. He simply portrays a different character on this board.

I don't, and I get irritated by his constant personal attacks towards several people. I can handle it. Some may not, and there is no real need to attack someone's character unless it has been instigated.

HP sauce: Please explain your, ahem, ideology right now.

I'll be back in a bit. I just found out some drunk girls came over to my said bud's place in a thread about honesty I just created in the hangout. So obviously I'm going back. I'll be back here in an hour or four.

my sauce is that JN/BJ is about the top 3 on this bbs with Will wrt to talent...outside the board.

that doesn't mean he has anything on you FFB. or maybe he does.

For instance, BJ and achebe are all over....Doc Rocket?? lol. That guy is spent. And now it is denniscd. Oh, boy, howdie.

    feeed me!!!!

but who cares what I think...it is more about what you think about each other. The way I see it is BJ says..."aight...it was cool meeting FFB once, he played my pin ball game but refused to take me on on darts."

And FFB says..."Hey hp, this is Sheri, Linda, Tasha, and Kim...everyone say hi to hp."

    what?

with Texas being such a conservative state...

and conservatives being such apple pie kind of people...

you do know that they estimate 30% of the homeless are War Vets...

so I guess its... sure send them of to be killed or injured... heros if they are...

but throw them away if and when they get back...

I never give money... but I will give food... ill open the sandwhich wraping etc... before I give it thought....

Once someone starts with the personal mud-slinging, i stick them on my ignore list. Why should I listen to someone who is show that level of disrespect?

The way I see it, in real life, if someone said those sorts of things....would anyone listen to them after that? Heck no. In fact, people don't ever act that uncivilized.

I can testify to this. I never give away money on the street.

When RefLady and I were in NYC, we were walking back to our hotel late at night. A bum asked me for change, and I said "no...sorry." I kept on walking. A few seconds later, I look back, and there is the bum following RefLady, who was trying to walk away and pleading aggressively for money. I walked to ward them with a purpose yelling "I just told you no, and now you f***ing won't let her walk away."

His eyes got about as big as dinner plates. He ran and gave me the finger as soon as he was across the street.

My point...people begging for money are starting to get more aggressive. If he would have put his hands on RefLady, I would probably have been in NYC jail that night.

    hahahahaha! awesome.

    here here!

ya so i bump into these bums in butte montana and buy them a few beers. turns out they just beg for money for like half the year and then the other half the year they go work sanitation or construction.

there was like a group of four of them that stuck together. each one of them said they made like 20k a year begging and another 30k a year working.

    UNBELIEVABLE!

bet the dudes you give money to have part-time jobs or have seasonal work.

it's just been my experience that 99% of the homeless are homeless because they choose to be. and they're comfortable with the idea of begging for money. (f that)

i NEVER give money to the homeless. i don't want to be an enabler.

I thought they were "busting out all over" just like June?

I saw the friendliest begger yesterday. He was on westheimer by the Galleria. Only had one leg. Anyone who rolled down the window and gave him money became his best friend. He would talk and smile and pat your arm and everything. Nice guy he was.

I use to give money out much more routinely but i've severly cut back because...well too many are scams. I still give money out on occasion though.

I will never give money on the street. It's so easy to donate to a charity ya know. Just give $100 a year to the local homeless shelter or soup kitchen in your area, and forgo giving anything on the street. Really, if everyone did this, pan-handling would come to an end, and people would be motivated to get off the streets. Plus, there would be more funds to actually help them since your dollars would be used in the right way.

You can still read posts on ignore lists. Mostly, the ignore lists tell you who not to bother replying to because they will likely just respond with poo-poo if you disagree with them.
