Prior to your post there were three reactions which I am assuming were by three people you don't know in person. 1. Boring 2. Sucks 3. Solid That was enough to cause you to consider not watching this season?
I really liked the first episode save for the focus on the daughter. I don't care about her at all and the more attention they give her and her stupid teenage drama the worse off the show will be. The rest of it was really good. As for the mole from the first two seasons, a lot of what was attributed to a "mole" on the show was actually Brody.
Haha wow. I never would have guessed. I read somewhere that he was recast once again and I couldn't believe they'd do it a 2nd time. Good call.
Finished with Breaking bad so this show is next on the binge list. Anywhere to watch the first season?
It should be on demand on Uverse and Comcast (assuming you have Showtime). Other than that, you can torrent it.
Not a homerun for the first episode, but a lot of set-up which I hope will make for an awesome season, sans the teenage drama... Carrie should feel the way she does...
Watched the first episode last night, seems like Saul's finally come to his senses about Carrie. I'll keep watching, ugly crying and all....
But Saul also said she was right; that it looks like a complete setup. I don't see what he said about her bipolar being a secret. The CIA already knew that. He already sanctioned firing her for that, no? And isn't sleeping with Brody sanctioned by Saul, too? To get closer to him. Another thing, Saul did say he doesn't believe Brody was behind the bomb, either.
Probably me missing some of the episode, the promo for this season though lead me to believe the CIA was going after Carrie.
You still could be right. Some of Saul's statements are contradicting. I'm not sure what Saul is doing, yet. (Should re-watch the last few episodes of last year) There's definitely a mole. And yeah, the CIA appears to be using Carrie as a scapegoat to protect themselves from the Senate. Seems possible Brody is the mole. He would have had a copy of the clemency agreement. btw: Quinn's a bad ass.
Saul seemed to change course after he spoke to his wife at home. Moving forward with the op and then laying out Carrie but I'd have to watch the episode again as well.
Can somebody give me a 'previously on homeland' gist? I didn't catch the episode on tv and i am lost.
Indeed. The bomb on the vest should have detonated and the show ended. Then it would have been a great show.
Entertainment Weekly does good recaps of episodes... http://tvrecaps.ew.com/recap/homeland-season-3-premiere/
no plan? I'm not so sure since Homeland is based off an Israeli TV show that had two seasons. btw: has anyone seen Prisoners of War? Is there a English subtitle version?
