This is why I don’t bother debating when they tell me they’re sure we don’t have a franchise player. You don’t know sh*t about 21 year olds especially ones who just came out of two forced losing seasons that dipped everyone’s performance. Warriors were going to be a dynasty and our fans would’ve been like “lol you think we’re going to win a title with a 6’8 C who can’t shoot or post, a 3&D SG and an injury prone 6’3 PG who’s not even a great playmaker?” I swear a lot of our fans would have wanted to package or consolidate 2nd year Klay, Draymond AND Curry. You think you would have convinced them that Steph would be the greatest shooter of all time and that would be enough to make it a DYNASTY? No, they would have been busy acting like they know which weaknesses can never ever shrink or disappear. They think they would have seen how those guys become an all time elite core, but their methodology would never have allowed them to see it. With this core, future picks and cap space we’re on our way to a title eventually. The only thing we have to avoid is getting stuck with bad contracts or having 0 faith in our ability to develop players.
