I used to do the same thing, but now I go out of my way to read his posts and stare at them endlessly.
While Homage is in theory a good thing for folx Intellect <> Money Here is a sentence about nothing and here is another. That last sentence actually ended with a period But that one didnt. Now making spaces between my "paragraphs" Ramping up for the Grand Finale Which was capitalized for no reason. Rocket River ...something something something
This thread is sad. A few weeks ago there was a thread about that Rutgers student committing suicide. Almost every poster in that thread was full of righteous anger over the asshats who posted the video of him and particularly over the anti-gay nature of the incident. There were furious words about how they would stand up to that kind of bigotry or how they would raise their kids to stand up to it. And yet Rocket River gets a smart ass comment in nearly every thread. They're not even funny comments. Just a lame cool story bro line. And there's usually a number of replies to a Rocket River comment with a pathetic anti-confusing post slam. And within a few weeks, he even gets a dedicated thread. I don't think I've ever seen a single post defending him. I don't blame him if he leaves this bbs with all the abuse he takes. Hopefully he has a thick skin and would never attempt to hurt himself. ClutchFans can be a really cool community. I loved how this board rallied around R2K earlier this year. I think the venom directed at Rocket River is probably the worst side of it. There are too many immature posters to realistically expect it to stop, but I'm not ashamed to say I think you're all a bunch of bigoted, immature pricks for making anti-Rocket River comments. That is all.
Brooksball I don't know if you're serious or not, I think most people like RR. Landlord probably is being a jerk but I know RR from my time here, it doesn't bother him. than being said, I love RR, obviously we stand together on a lot issues involving race, but I don't read his posts either. its not venom or hate, they are actually hard to read. I know he's trying to bring a different perspective with even his post style, but I have to wonder how many people are like me who ignore a lot of his post, just out of difficulty. I really wouldn't care about threads like this on a certain poster, but I've always wanted to tell him, but didn't because I like the guy so much.

I agree. RocketRiver gets some flak here but it's all out of love. Brooksball, I'm not sure what you are basing your observation on. IMO, DaDakota gets it much worse than RR.
