Yeah, it looks like Wall has played well on paper, but his scoring feels pretty empty considering the team has lost 39 games in a row.

Still would take Wall over Westbrick.

... But yeah, awful contract. Would be amazing if we could dump it for expirings, even if we hadda throw in a pick or two. But I doubt it happens.

Question. The last year on Wall’s contract is a player option. Could Wall agree to make the final year a team option in order to make it easier to trade him to a contender?

What if we gave him the Blake griffin or Andre Drummond treatment. Would he ask for a buyout cuz he doesn't get to play?

He isn’t getting that treatment here this season and a buyout leaves him on the books I believe. It’s not something we have to think about right now. I think he’s here to stay for at least this season.

    Please be true.

    Just expirings and I'm happy.
    Olynk & Iggy & Leonard.

    Done
They can then package Bradley & Harkless for Kleber & Finney-Smith.

    Adebayo
    Kleber. Finney-Smith
    Butler
    Robinson. Herro
    Wall Dragic Nunn

    That team sounds stacked.

    He's got 3 years 130 mill left.

He's going to go home play video games & get 130 mill.

Morey convinced Ty Lawson to make a year non-guaranteed, so same thing. It’s simply removing compensation protection.

But no way Wall removes protection for a supermax year.

Okay thanks. Yes, I know he probably wouldn’t want to give up that last year. But, by that point he will have made well over 200 million in his career. I just thought he might be willing to to do it in order to play for a contender.

I hope it's genuine interest and not to drive down Lowry's price

Remember, physically Wall looks pretty good. It's his play style that seems to be the issue right now. The Heat pride themselves on culture and playing the right way, they might think that Wall can come in there and play the right way to return to his all star days.

As long as you don't see Oladipo in that mix. That defense could hold back the nets for like 2 quarters.

Stone will get value. All you guys thinking Wall and pick to get him off the books don't have a clue. He is overpaid but some GM will take that talent if they need a true point guard and swallow the contract if they think it will increase the odds on a ring. Otherwise he will be our one and only overpaid star at some point, Tucker will be gone and Gordon will help someone.

Honestly I think with the right youth movement he could work here as a floor leader but he won't want to stick around for this mush longer. KPJ will get his chance soon.

Heat can give us the expiring money players and a young player without blinking. They would be much improved with Wall as a talent at point.

The biggest issue seems to be no one else can score the basketball, I think Wall looks great regarding his quickness and his 3 point shooting has improved. A late career Derrick Rose like resurgence is very possible for him.

Hopefully he can be moved this year or next to a contender and can mentor our young guys in the meantime regarding professionalism and such. He’s been wrongly scapegoated by many on this board for the team being awful since Wood’s injury.
