There are no men, women, or blacks voting in China right now so it looks like you're a lot further behind than you think buddy.
Only men voting indicates not only a lack of voting rights, but also gender and racial discrimination, which isn't politically indicated in China. So I guess we're a little ahead. And we do have voting process in everything, although it's rigged it's still better than none.

What's the point besides silly ego stroking, which becomes especially ridiculous if you didn't participate in the things you're taking credit for. As far as some US posters dissing the whole competition at the World Championship, this is equally stupid. By doing that, you put your team in a no win situation. If they win by 50 points, that was expected and nothing special, if they win the game by a small margin, it's already a disgrace. If you respected the competition, you'd have a lot more fun with your team.

Blaming everything on one man is the easiest way out, but it's not gonna fly in this particular case. Slobo was elected almost fair and square by the Serbian people (the same way as Hitler was elected into power in Germany), and he was popular among Serbs for most of the decade of the 90s. He's not a totalitarian dictator like Saddam or Stallin. All the meetings that the Serbs had to support him were not staged forcefully, people did not voice their support for him out of fear. Serbian nationalism and superiority complex is what got Slobo in power, not the other way around. You should really tone it down, pal, and be ashamed of what your people did. And what I am saying is that if you guys don't find a way to cool off and show some humility, you may easily get into the same **** that you got into before, and THEN you'll see more missiles up your arse.
There's minority as well as female political figures in the present Chinese government. That's better than 1910's "democratic but discriminatory" America. I would rather live under the current dictating government without voting rights and freedom of speech than living in the 1910's democratic yet discriminatory America, since as a minority I'd be forced to yield the seat in public buses, couldn't find a decent job as well as being unable to vote. As least in China I can retain my seat. As for discrimination against everyone equally, dictatorship is about social Darwinism, the fittest survives. That's why some dictating countries have done marvelous jobs developing economy than their democratic counterparts. China and India are good examples.
You know you have this really twisted and frighteningly sick mindset to compare the very worst of choices made in a free and open society with what is every day dictated Communism. Any racial problems that appear in America have nothing to do with a governmental system and everything to do with with America having the most culturally and racially diverse population on Earth. Since China is comparatively homogenous it's laughable for you to make any racially based arguments. The kind of crap that you're spouting here is nothing different from the propaganda used by the Soviet Union. You want to talk about the ability to ride on a friggin bus and I'm talking about the right to determine who makes the decisions that affect your life and your children's lives. The person in the back of the bus can protest and force change in a Democratic system while the person in a Communist system protests loudly, gets kidnapped in the middle of the night to be beaten and interrogated into signing some bogus confession, and then disappears to some labor camp for 10 years if they're still alive. Well, the next step would be to blame the entire culture. Great move. With Slobo, you can maybe get away with calling him too insignificant on the world scene, but esp. with Hitler, the question is : If everything he did was so obvious from the beginning, why didn't any country rush into Germany and take him out? Why? When Hitler came to power, Germany was demilitarized, so it would've been easy enough. Whenever anyone brings up the argument of "they voted for him, it was all written down in "Mein Kampf" before he even came to power, I wonder why no other country bothered to stop him at a time when it would've been easy. Why? The rest of the world was just as smart as the Germans, so why didn't it happen? And If anybody had bothered, Slobo could've been stopped early too.

Yes people in Communistic system get treatment like that, the same way that the blacks being owned, beaten up, raped and sold in a DEMOCRATIC and CAPITALISTIC society. Easy to say that they can protest and force change in a Democratic system, but the fact is if it were not for a war they might still be slaves. If you can't comprehend that there's no hope for you. I've not said that communism is better than capitalism, or dictatorship better than democracy. I'm merely point out the deficiency of democracy and that in some speical cases dictatorship fares better than democracy - as in economic development, in which is vital for the Chinese' well being more than voting rights and freedom of speech for the time being. The Chinese government, being nominally communistic and de facto capitalistic, although still dictating, should be given credit for vastly improving the Chinese people's lives.
