I honestly think I'm looking through the bottom of the basket, slightly. That would make his head in this picture potentially below the rim. I'm guessing max height at 10'3", making it a doable 43" vert.

You think the camera is level with the rim?

That's my main difference with you. We can agree to disagree on that camera's placement.

ps: he timed that jump perfectly. You're seriously reaching by saying he jumped before he knew how high the ball would be.

    1. Looking through the bottom of the rim? What in the world are you talking about? The camera man is clearly in the stands. You can see people sitting below him. And considering the video says "Courtesy of CF Athletics", that video is most likely for the coaches to watch the film. A community college or juco like that will have a student manager who will be at the top of the stands with a camera filming the game for the coaches.

The camera man is at the top of the stands, and that would make him close to the height of the basket. Seriously... have you ever been to a high school basketball game before? The view from where the camera man is sitting lines up perfectly with what I'm saying.

    2. Have you ever played basketball before at a competitive level? That jump was not timed well at all. He came flying in with the HOPE that he could snatch the ball up quickly and get an easy put-back. He never imagined the ball flying up as high as it did.

If you want to see a well-timed put-back, watch Iman Shumpert:

He waits and then sees where the ball is going and jumps up and dunks it.
