    Not surprising at all.. Money = Power makes people crazy. That's why I'll never cross the border until all that Drug related crap is controlled... I thought about doing a family trip but that was erased off my boards some years ago.

    Total BS I was in Mexico City two weeks ago and it was fine. Walked around all day in tourist areas even working class neighborhoods without any problems. Certain areas of Mexico are bad right now particularly the border and Michoacan but much of the country is still safe for visiting. In fact I'm going to Guanajuato next week.

    It is insane the life that they must live there. I am grateful I do not feel the weight of survival for me or my family everytime I walk out the door, go to work, sleep...

    I hope they never intended on reopening that mine. It does seem like a great burial hatch, especially if it provided the conditions to be mummified.
