lol at the dweebs somehow finding a way to get personal about the fact I think tv writing has been poor for years and that I like to rewatch classics. To each his own, jerkwads.

    lol.

It's particularly hilarious that David Simon (creator of The Wire) is one of the most woke dudes there is.

AI says thankyou, this is my opportunity. I for one, would like to see how it does. And I think it will be fine since most writers are grabbing from others work anyway.

Why is Simon's wokeness important to anything? I watch shows I like, I drink beer I like, and don't boycott stuff based on politics. Anybody that does that (Right - Kid Rock/Bud Light or Left - AOC/Goya) is an idiot.

Pro Tip- if you interview for a spot on a game show and they ask you what you would do with a large sun of money, do not say ‘Hookers and blow!’

i remember the strike in 2008/2009.
we got season 3 of prison break. ugh.

i hope it's diff this time around.

@Jontro wont be affected. he skips the plot anyway.

speaking of which, i met a bartender in Kobe, Japan who used to write the intro paragraph/synopsis for prn DVDs.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know back in the mid-late 2000’s that there was a strike going on

Is that why we got that Green Lantern movie?

Q: How did Mathew McConaughey react to the writer's strike?

    A: I'll write, I'll write, I'll write.

Most actors/directors/PA's are actually supportive of writers (at least publicly). But it's possible someone circumvent the writers guild rules and submit scripts during the strike. It's frowned upon.

The punchline was that he'd write for studios during the strike . Just a silly Pun on his catch phrase. (alright alright alright)

As far as the actual issue; the guild's demands are reasonable. The AI thing is a bit out there.

I got the joke... I was just trying to let Ice Cube say "that's a corny Dad joke", but he obviously failed. :D
