Lebron is better defensively but its not a popular thing to say anything of LEbron being better than Jordan so whatever.

Jordan was more in the Kobe mold. Could turn it on and become an amazing defender but didn't have the same versatility as Lebron.

Rubio has pretty good defense but not great. I mean Derek Fisher has one of his few good games against him this season. I think Hollinger is putting too much on steals averages, which is also why Conley is curiously on there.

Rubio was almost at the top for PG isolation defense. His length really helps.

Also, Kevin Seraphin has been stellar on defense this year. He should get a mention as well.

Rubio is developing some Ginobili-like flopping tendencies.

Wow, you had a chance to back off from that but instead you doubled down. Incredible.

I have hated Lebron longer than almost everyone on this board.

His defense is insane. He can guard Derrick Rose to Dwight Howard. He held hte MVP to 20% shooting IN THE PLAYOFFS.

Give the guy props for how damn insanely good his defense is.

This. People forget how good he was defensively. Better than Jordan, who had Scottie Pippen take the defensive assignments. Lebron's versatility is unmatched.

WB only plays defense on a part-time basis. He's probably the main reason OKC's defense varies so much between most of the game and the last half of the 4th quarter.

Lebron's defense is better than his offense. That's his biggest probelm. Is that when he needs to score, he does something stupid most of the time.

Pippen had Jordan to shoulder the load offensively. That takes a lot more out of you. LBJ is passing the ball around like a hot potato in crunch time. That leaves a lot of energy for the defensive end.

uhhh what about the rest of the game hahaha? people don't get tired until crunch time? Even if LBJ passes the ball like a hot potato supposedly, he still crashes for offensive boards and moves to a spot to find an open shot. And to say Lebron doesn't shoulder a lot of the offensive load is absurb. Its not like he is a role player, he is integral to every possession basically.

People just don't realize that MJ is not God. Lebron is a physical freak (above MJ) : he can do both offense and defense at the highest level.

LBJ passes the ballb eceause he is a good teammate, he chooses smart plays. The fact is he is a Smarter and better teammate than MJ ever was and ever will be. MJ played with ego, good enough to pull it off. Kobe is the same, except lets play it ,kobe is just overrated and sucks and can't pull it off, he is just the hyped worse version of MJ. Lebron does everything they both do in scoring, except more efficiently. He passes better than MJ and kobe combined, plays better defense, is a better teammate. Respect the GOAT.

whoa, what is up with this backlash? I don't get why the hate on lebron is here, if anything we houstonians should relate to lebron more since he plays like lebron in that he plays both sides of the floor(obviously on the perimeter though) and he acts like hakeem in that he doesn't trash talk and seems like a decent guy. I don't know i would be crucified for supporting the same things in lebron/hakeem but alright

No one would take Ibaka over Chandler or Howard.

What I'm confused on, is why Ibaka is considered a center.

Eric Bledsoe is just as promising of a defender as Avery Bradley. Too bad VDN is too big of a clown to start him...
