I didn't say not to use stats, I said don't use some weird calculation system.

So you want us to just use raw stats instead of a system that tries to interpret them?

Yeah...stats speak for themselves. Actually seeing a person play would be the best thing. When you look at stats, they're stats...no need for interpretation.

Thing is they dont speak for themselves, or why didnt JJ Reddick go number 1 last year, why is Morrison struggling.

There are systems that give out red flag warnings about certain players, youd be a fool to not atleast take them into consideration.

I' ll say he does pretty good against Oden who is considered as a great defender.

I edited my post to included rebounds per 40 minutes. Landry is still a medicore rebounder.

And you would think with how many offensive touches he gets that he would be able to get some extra offensive boards.

He is the most athletic out of the drafted PFs, but he has the shortest standing reach also. Even Lasme and Chuck Hayes have longer reaches than him. His standing reach is almost half a foot shorter than everybody else.

He will always have a problem grabbing high rebounds over other PFs.

I love his athleticism and the ability to stay in front of his man. We really needed somebody, like Chuck Hayes, with quick feet to hide Yao's lateral quickness. Josh McRoberts and Glen Davis weren't going to do it.

    Carl Landry 8'6.5"
    Jason Smith 8'10"
    Josh McRoberts 8'10.5"
    Joakim Noah 8'10.5"
    Stephen Lasme 8'11"
    Al Horford 8'11"
    Herbert Hill 9'0.5"
    Brandan Wright 9'0.5"

How about watching them play along with stats? Sometimes stats dont tell the whole story.

That's what I said. First I said that stats speak for themselves and then that actually seeing a person play is the best thing.

Start with 20-25 bucks. Hit it again when you can. This is a good deal, this place rocks....
