Character is incredibly important with all of these guys. The stars burst out of the gate and usually shine immediately but the league is filled with PJ Tuckers. I saw him with Durant at UT. It takes a very special guy to keep grinding and reinvent themselves and believe when no one else will. It sometimes takes 5 years to develop those skills and requires a lot of resiliency. The NBA is littered with examples. Let’s hope he is one of them. Players take time to develop. Look at what Whiteside did and then threw away all over again.
