Terrence Williams also had a near triple double in the G league. I would say treat him like a Top 20 pick, not necessarily like a lottery pick that he was.
He played for the best team ever right? Side note.... I remember when I got stuck on the red claws because of a glitch in 2k where you got sent to the d league and could never get pulled out of it.
Morey is infatuated with these first round busts. Guess he's gonna keep trying till he finds a good fixer upper?
Dude just needs to make a couple of 3s as soon as he gets in his first game and he'll get a guaranteed spot with Mike
Tucker bounced around and left the NBA before coming back. Bev was in Russia before Morey picked him up. Bennett could be a surprise.
Well, Bennett didn't bouce around in Europe, I hoped he would. Europe is a fine place, far from being as good basketballwise as the NBA but a good place to learn how to play team-ball!
He's 6'8, has tools once viewed as 1st pick worthy, and has shot 43% from 3 in the G-league over the last 2 years. He's seemingly a walking prototype for a modern NBA forward. While it's impossible to be against such a low risk signing, the fact that there wasn't a line for his services leaves me more than a little suspect as to his overall impact on the floor.
The road back to the NBA is Defense, and Defense only. Virtually anyone in the NBA can score 20 or 30 on a given night if they get hot.
Over 330 3pt attempts for the last few seasons? Last year he averaged 21 pts, 8 boards over 36 minutes. I don't know how that compares to average NBA player stuck in the G. League, but it doesn't seem bad. Rockets better not use bargain shopping as an excuse to dump Shumpert for nothing or not pursue the likes of RoCo though. Which is exactly what I think will happen.
Tell that to Michael Beasley. LOL. But I'm in full agreement, Bennett needs to be Elston Turner's best friend if not best pupil.
