To add to that. He hasn’t done anything for this team or this city…..yet. Putting him on a pedestal is weird to me. He needs to accomplish more to have that pull, and that was pre allegations.
So....in a case where we have he said she said allegations that are presented 3 ring circus style, Watson needs to prove himself innocent?
Im a firm believer in innocent until proven guilty. But….with this many women, a very distinct pattern, multiple pros saying it’s not normal. One can come to the conclusion that something is happening. If it’s found out that these women are lying, I hope they are put in jail. I’ll put it this way, if this dude was not an athlete some of you would be singing a different tune, completely. Letting the fact that he’s talented at a game cloud moral judgement and giving blind loyalty to him says a lot about individuals character.
Also, it’s not really that much of he said she said. He’s admitted to more than massages. That is known. The only speculation is if it was forced or non consensual.
The fact that you cant tell that I'm not worked up means we're on different wave lengths. That post wasn't meant for just him, but for anybody that defends Watson whether he's found guilty or not. If jurors find him not guilty then their daughters should be required to spend a weekend with Watson
The wife can say I forgive you and I hope you have a great life with your next wife. I'm leaving because I cant live with a man I dont trust.
This is exactly what I've been trying to say and some just dont get it. Regardless though because of some of the stuff that's come out Watson has played his last snap for the Texans. Good riddance
As I said earlier in this thread, my comments are based on knowledge I gained from conversations with my cousin who worked vice cases in this industry. Doesn't have anything to do with who Watson is as I have said I don't have a problem with him being suspended over it. My opinion is Watson is knowingly involved in money for sex industry. Most of these women are not professional therapists so there's that pattern too.....
I thought the majority were licensed and/or worked at legitimate spas and businesses. Just because people fantasize about masseuses or think real life is p*rn, doesn’t make legitimate masseuse a sex industry.
Agreed and I have said this many times. Forced or non forced is the he said she said I was referring too, Busby would have been better served to initially only take on licensed therapists. Quantity over quality was a pile on tactic to embarrass Watson in to settling.
Just 5 were licensed in Texas. There is no and or. You have to be licensed if you massage for money no matter the venue where the service is performed. Just 5 would be considered legitimate massage therapists.
How many were esthetician’s that he talked into massages? From what I read, the majority were either licensed, becoming licensed or actual professionals in Spas of some sort. They weren’t Instagram thots trolling for a payday.
And that means absolutely nothing. For one, it’s not a very long list. Two, he still hasn’t done anything of note. Regardless, putting players on pedestals like that is just insane. No wonder these dudes are so entitled and think they can do whatever they want.
To me that says she hasn't FORGIVEN him. To forgive someone, you are no longer holding what a person has done in the past against them.....isn't that the definition?
You should go back and read my original post. I clearly said, its blame on both sides but you don't throw the baby out with the bath water, per say. No one is being put on a pedestal. This is about resolving a situation before a mistake is made
And I think that is a fair way to look at it-if the allegations are a bit exaggerated. If he forced these women to perform sexual acts like some claim, that’s not something I can look past and easily forgive. For sure not something I would as the face of the franchise of my city. That’s not even adding the signing a contract and then 5 months later trying to force his way out issue.
We still don't know who's telling the truth or not. My position has always been and still is, is to wait and see how this turns out and to go from there. If he's found guilty criminality, that's a different story but if he's found innocent or settles, I think the Texans should welcome him back.
