this isnt the first time this has happened. i remember a few years ago the san antonio newspaper ran a story about a bunch of south texas towns running the mexican flag at post offices and courthouses. if its a private buisness thats one thing, but these are federal buildings. but this is also a country where 2 border patrol officers are currently awaiting trial and potential prison sentences for shooting a drug smuggler. this is also a country where the mexican government will be allowed to control parts of the nafta superhighway that is being built w/in the united states. mexican police will have a checkpoint in kansas city and you can bet the mexican flag will be flying there too. this is also a country where amnesty will be given to all who illegally enter our country. god bless the american union - the death of america!
I noticed a big difference between Canada and US. Nothing right or wrong, just different. Both are built on immigrants. In Canada, all the immigrants are keeping their own culture and traditions as much as possible, and connected loosely as Canadians all together, just like a plate of salad. While in US, all immigrants are in a big melting pot, somehow become all American, like a big pot of soup. Back to the topic, I do think federal building should represent federal government. In this case, US, not Mexico or any other country.
Whatever America was has died already. The new North American Union will be a social democracy- Orwell's 1984 Welcome to the Beast
Is there really a worry that America may become a place where Mexican flags fly at post offices? This isn't a reality almost anywhere. I have seen zero evidence to indicate it is even a possibility of becoming a reality in any significant amount of places.
Maybe we all missed the news item that the U.S. Postal Services has been outsourced to a Mexican company. The Bush government is trying to privatize everything the government used to be in charge of. I'm sure will missed it because we were all mesmerized by the Jon Benet Ramsey story.
textbook definition of fascism. thats right. nothing to see here. your leaders have it all under control. watch tv! BACK TO BED AMERICA!
damn you lawyers! is this better? in some south texas towns, the mexican flag was flown at federal buildings.
