1. You should have been presented with all the HOA pertinent documents and by laws when you bought your house. Look up what it says about parking on the street. If you can't find it, ask your management company or board representative to show it to you. 2. If you violated it, it doesn't matter if your neighbors did as well. You are still responsible. Adhere to the bylaw and ask why your neighbors aren't in violation. 3. Go to the meetings. Explain your situation. At the very least, you may drum up support from the other owners.
