    LOL!

yeah 4 guards for quickness and offensive purposes..to rotate and help out..but yeah just one Yao can't rebound. The guards aren't used to getting rebounds. :/

    Almu;

Great post and I was thinking almost exactly the same thing.

We got screwed by the Refs no doubt about it. (There isn't an emoticon that expresses how angry I am about that.)

But still we had several opportunities to win this game and if we take care of business we win.

A great team wouldn't have been in the position where bad calls would even be a factor.

    Almu -
I am ashamed of you and embarrassed for you. It is one helluva of lot easier hitting FT's when you're not fighting a continuous uphill climb. If you don't see the robbery that was culminated with the Stackhouse steal from Barry you have zero cred and I for one will never respond to any future post of yours. A truly pathetic summary.

Offensive rebounds aren't really a big problem when we give up 13 but got 10 ourselves. On that one possesion where they got like 5 offensive rebounds in a row, they only scored two points on it.

However, I do blame the refs, first, and missed FTs.

What about 'what should have been' Dirk's 6th foul that they gave to Josh Howard? Pretty convenient for Dallas. Dirk never would have had the offensive rebound and the put back to seal the deal if he was on the bench.

What about the 'so called foul' on Scotty? Anticipating a little? Taking quite a few liberties with the whistle, don't you think?

Of course, the out of bounds "steal" was an awesome call.

I could go on and on, but you get the point. If TNT's one sided announcers could see the bias, you know that something is wrong.

I'm with you, Death so Salvatore!!!!!!

Yeah, and you turn around to hang on Shaq's Jock.

We could have made more FTs, then again, we could have hit more shots too. So?

    Guys,

The refs called a HORRIBLE GAME!

    But the point REMAINS!

Hit the free throws , we WIN THE DAMN GAME. THE DAMN GAME IS OURS!!!

Thats the point. Uphill my assssparagus! The fact remains that the clutchness that we all talk about was ABSENT in this game.

And don't give me that crap about small lineup and crappy rebounding because of it. The WHOLE GAME we were outhustled.

Man, I am ashamed of YOU GUYS like Gater who every year we have a good to great team, you think the refs are out to get the city of Houston. I remember this crap back in the day being talked about all the damn time. Cry me a freakin river already.

It was whining then. And shiznet ain't changed since then.

Four point swing? Lets talk about a 7 point swing for THEM with us choking away opportunity after opportunity. THAT was the ball game.

But whatever. Big bad NBA does it to the Rockets again.

You are right - the players must forget and re-focus.

    Let's Les battle Cuban.

    C'mon Les, say something!

Give me a freaking break. Do you even watch sports. It's not as if we hit the free throws and suddenly we have 5 more points and we win.

The game changes continuously as determined by circumstance as of that moment.

Do you not think the refs know what the score is at any given moment and call games accordingly.

Just as refs don't call fouls on a last second shot even if the player was fouled or they call mysterious fouls on Josh Howard because Dirk had 5.

Bottom line is refs change the way they call a game based on everything that is going on at the time.

We got robbed and those final few plays, regardless of what happened earlier, cost us big time.

It's hard to keep your head in the game when the officiating is flawed.

You make it sound so easy...

    One last point before bedtime...

Where were all the ticky tack fouls people b****ed about that got Yao in foul trouble during the 3rd and 4th quarter? What? They all magically disappeared?

    NO!

Yao was extremely aggressive and HE GOT THE CALLS! Instead of being out there trying to draw the fouls, he was out there INITIATING the contact.

But, he choked down the stretch. So, who cares.

Just remember my point. The refs WILL NOT CALL fouls on players who are being aggressive on the offensive end ESPECIALLY players in the paint. They will always get the benefit of the doubt.

Yao continues to stop being a twat, he won't get used like one either.

Easy? No. I am not a professional athlete so its extremely hard.

But hit the free-throws. We didn't lose by 30. We lost by 3. Hit the 7 we choked away and we could of pulled this game out.

You may commence with the river some are crying...

May I remind you that JVG donated 100 grand for the magic you have mentioned above.

Players have to do their business, so do refs.

Idiot. Who was the one scoring all the points in the last few minutes.

The fact he made the last 2 free throws when there was more pressure means he did not "choke".

If he missed either foul shot with 17 seconds, the game wouldve been toast.

As it stood, we had a chance to pull it out because Yao scored every time he touched the ball.

never said was easy, but you think we are the only team in the NBA that has been on the bad side of officiating? give me a break its part of the game in any sport....its not perfect but everyone has to deal with it.

Almu, you wrote off Yao halfway through the season so the next time you talk as though Yao's being aggressive is somehow proving you were right all along, I'm gonna put you on ignore. And speaking of twats, in my book, twats are bandwagoning YOHs who dissapear for most of the season and magically reappear during a rockets playoff loss to b*tch about how Yao blew it and how Yao should be traded and how they were right all along ad nauseum.

As for the ticky tack fouls, JVG donated 100K so they wouldn't be called. You think Yao could have been as aggressive as he was if he were being slapped for fouls everytime Dirk flopped? Think again.

BTW, if it weren't for Yao, the rockets wouldn't even be close. Next time you talk about choking, don't talk about someone who went 10/13 from the field. And btw, Yao's gonna be a rocket for a Long long time. Go back to your hole if you don't like it.
