I thought it hit somewhere on him like the bat or something becuase he dropped to the ground and rolled around. I remember the commentators talking about the booing and stuff saying if he is hit etc..that it's rude..but i could have swore it hit something, maybe i was wrong.
It hit his bat around the knob; total bush league move by Berkman. Not nearly as bad as Remlinger head hunting though.
Yeah I saw this a few days ago on Sportscenter. I got nothing wrong with him trying to get on base but when the umpire wasn't buying it and he had to step back to the plate and ended up striking out, then got all pissed about it; well then he came off as a complete loser. You try to cheat your way on base, get called for it, then have the nerve to get pissed at the ump...whatever.
